about 20 minutes ago I was doing my regular stretching when I made a wrong move and I kinda turned my ankle and fell , now it hurts pretty bad but it couldn't possibly be broken or sprained if I can still walk right ?

Most likely, you just jolted your nerves around in your ankle. If it helps soak it in some epison salt and take it easy. Best bet is wait until later on tonight if it still hurts after you soaked it wrap a bandage around it and it should be fine or buy yourself an ankle support and have it on for a few days and then it should be fine. If not see the doctor and he will just tell you keep it up and stay off it as much as possible.

When I hurt my ankle, the doctor told me a rule of thumb is that if you can take three steps, then it most likely isn't broken. You could've sprained it or just pulled a muscle. Either way, prop it up and wrap an ace bandage around it for the next few days. If it gets unbearable, go to Urgent Care or the ER.

If your walking it would just be a sprain. If it was broken ankle is sensitive you would feel it and wouldn't be able to walk on it it would swell up in minutes in about 3 days you should be fine if not get checked out by you physician.

It could be anything but broken. I would wrap it up in a ace wrap and put ice on it for the first 48 hours and then go from there. You can walk on a sprain ankle and yes it is good to walk on it.

You may have sprained it because you could still walk on it. Your ankle might, however, become swollen. The best thing to do is ice it to bring down the swelling and elevate your foot so your ankle can heal properly.

Sounds like a twist, not a sprain

You probably just sprained it because when you break your ankle it's extremly swollen and you wouldn't be able to walk at all.

you pulled a muscle. ice it and stay off of it for a little bit, you should be fine. if not, contact your doctor to see if it's a sprain. a sprain will take longer to heal. take care.

Sprained. If you broke it, it would be swolen BIG TIME and you would not be able to walk.
