1. Substitutions! Your favorite snacks don't have to be forbidden; in fact, if you make them so, they'll seem even more appealing. So substitute fat-free pringles for the high-fat potato chips, or nonfat frozen yogurt for high-calorie ice cream.
2. Avoid excess snacking by popping a piece of gum in your mouth when you've got the munchies but aren't hungry.
3. Drink lots and LOTS of water.
4. Fiber-rich foods (fruits, veggies, whole grains) fill you up faster and make you feel full longer.
5. Low-fat dairy products (check out Yoplait's LIGHT smoothies) have been shown to shrink waists.
6. Exercise at least 4 times a week but no more than 6 times a week. (You need at least one recovery day.) Any type of cardio will shed the pounds: swimming, running, jumping rope, playing sports, biking.
7. Don't skip meals! It slows your metabolism, therefore making it harder to lose weight. Instead, eat smaller portions.
8. Keep a list of heart healthy snacks on the fridge to remind you not to reach for the cheesies.

nuts are good, roasted nuts are bad
brushing your teeth after eating a meal curbs cravings for second helpings or dessert.
have a sweet every now and then
drink water-clease your system
eat breakfast, NEVER starve youself!!
portion your meals
eat every 4 hours-but small meals- to help your metabolism run all day
running stairs is the fastest calorie burning technique- free
stay away from frying foods- baked, sauteed, or oven roasted chicken is good
chocolate is only good if its real and its healthy to eat an oz a day
use mustard instead of mayo on sandwiches. i was hesitate to try but it actually has more taste and zest. plus, no calorie and half fat of mayo
chex mix is awesome- half fat of chips and taste better
there are new baked chips out that are great
oh! and if you try cutting out sugary sodas that will save you 5-10 lbs a year.
dont go to the scale every day, us girls have horomones that are crazy and our weight varies everyday.
let your friends know you are on a diet so they can be supportive if you hit rock bottom.also tell someone that you know will get on to you when you cheat-they care about you more than you know.
no diet pills and no "lose wieght fast" diet
remember you can gain the weight back as easily as you lost it.
this is what happened to my father. lost ton of weight Fast and gained it back Fast. The most you should be losing is 5 pounds a week.

1. Good dieting tip is eat a good nutrition breakfast. That way you won't be so hungry at lunch time. 2. Stop eating because you see and smell food. 3. Have a balance diet with plenty of exercise and good eating.

Remember that it takes about 15-20 minutes for your stomach to inform your brain that is isn't dying of hunger anymore. That way when you eat a smaller meal and stop before you feel full you won't worry that you are going to continue to be hungry until the next time you eat. Instead just wait a while and you will see that your hunger will fade away.

we all love to snack! so make your snacks healthy items like fruits and vegetables. Eat 3 well balanced meals a day. Drink a lot of water,,,,,no soft drinks at all! And a regular exercise routine.
