Yes, we are asking through the website because you get answers a lot more quickly and from people who actually know the answers! How many times have you asked your friends questions and their response was "I DON'T KNOW!!!" ?
That is what the whole point of this website is.

You ARE asking around.Right now you are asking a more diverse group of people than you would probably ever come into contact with in your entire life. You are also getting an answer within seconds of asking your question. I think that is pretty cool.
