Very easy!
Look what Jesus says in John 4:22-24.
John 4:22 = "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews."
Now Jews keep Saturday.
There's other evidence:
The Calendar tells us " the first day starting Sunday and the seventh day ending Saturday.
You also can look in dictionaries; it tells you that Sabbath is Saturday.
You also can look up Sabbath in: Encyclopaedia Americana, Vol.24, pp.68-69.
Texts that deal with the seventh day Sabbath:
Gen.2:1-3; Exod.20:8-11; Psalm 119:126; Mark 2:27-28; Luke 4:16; Heb.3:18-19; 4:1-11; 2Peter 2:21; Rev.14:7.
Evidence: (Catholics know when the seventh day is)
"1. Is Saturday the 7th day occording to the Bible & the 10 Commandments.
"I answer yes.
"2. Is Sunday the first day of the week & did the Church change the 7th day--Saturday---for Sunday, the 1st. day:
"I answer yes.
"3. Did Christ change the day
"I anser no! Faithfully yours,
"J. Card. Gibbons"
--Gibbon's Autograph letter.
"Ques.--Which is the Sabbath day?
"Ans.--Saturday is the Sabbath day.
"Ques.--Why do we observe Sunday instead of Saturday?
"Ans.--We observe Sunday instead of Saturday because the Catholic Church transferred the solemnity from Saturday to Sunday."--Peter Geiermann, The Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine (1946 ed.), p.50. Geiermann received the "apostolic blessing" of Pope Pius x on his labors, Jan.25,1910.
Bible Readings pg.194.
(Dan.7:25 tells us "he will think to change laws and times")
Sunday believe at midnight to midnight to start another day. While the Bible says "even to even" in Gen.1:5,8,13,19,23; Lev.23:32.

I know! I always asked this question myself. I know a lot of people say look at the calendar, Sunday is the first day. I agree, but when God gave the ten commandments, the seventh day wasn't Saturday or Sunday. I think it's not the day that's important, it's whether or not you set a day apart to the Lord whether it's Sunday or Monday or Saturday it doesn't matter because as far as calendar goes; it was made up by someone, not God. Any day could have been the seventh, how do we know that Saturday is? I think we just don't know.

The Seventh Day Adventists worship from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday because the Children of Israel numbered their days, which makes the Sabbath the seventh, and their days began and ended at sunset, as you will find on Page 1 of the Bible,"evening and morning the first day" etc.etc. which explains the days as beginning and ending at sunset.
Saturday is taken from the Pagan calender whose days begin and end at midnight, who worship the Sun and therefore follow a solar year, while monotheistic children of Israel, who are actually renegade Muslims, follow a Lunar year.
You will not find Friday and Saturday or Sunday in the four Gospels. Christians also converted 25 December, which was, in Rome, the Festival of the Sun God Zeus, to the celebration of Christmas, which brought the Christ into Pagan Sun worship, as the birth of Jesus, from the birth of the Sun, because Jesus was considered a new Light come into the World, the Son of the Sun.

There were at least three different calendars used in Jesus day - the Jewish calendar, the Roman calender, and the Eastern calendar by which none were equal in which day they called what as the first day, second day, etc. The Jewish calendar referred to the sabbath day as 6 pm Friday evening to 6 pm Saturday evening. The Roman Calendar (or the Julian Calendar) referred to the first day of the week as Sunday after the Sun god. 7th Day Adventist for the most part adhere to a lot Jewish customs, and rites, even though they believe in a Jesus Christ, but not the same Jesus Christ of Christianity, those professing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as the only begotten son of God. Therefore, it would be natural that they would adhere to the Judaic calendar. The rest of the world adopted the Roman or Julian Calendar making the first day of the week or the day that Christ arose as the significant date in which to revere as Holy, since he came to fulfill the laws of the Old Testament and prophets and brought two new commandments. It was also impossible for the Jewish Sadducee's and Pharisees to do away with Christians so the Romans demanded they open the synagogue to them on the first day of the week, which was after their sabbath so they could worship their Christ. I hope this information has been helpful to you.

yes, First look at your calender and you will see that Sunday is the first day of the week. Sunday is when you should bring your first fruits to the congregation, so when famine comes there will be enough. Sunday should be a day of work, the first day. You should know also Jesus was crucified in the middle of the week as Daniel said in chapter9. The passover was the 14th day Nissan which is Wednesday. He was crucified of the high day passover at Wed 3:00p.m. at put in ground before 6:00 p.m., but It is important to understand the judgment when he was cut off was 6:00a:m which is exactly in the middle of the week. He was in the ground for 3 days and three nights, thus when they went to look for him they went after 6:00 P.M. with lanterns and his was not there. You should know that biblical time goes from 6:00p.m. is a new day, thus the sabbath would be from 6:00 p.m Friday until 6:00 pm Saturday. So 6:01 p.m. your Saturday is actually biblically Sunday morning. God Bless
I am not supporting 7th day Adventist religion, I am just supporting the Sabbath.

Well...my gut reaction would to tell you that since the Jewish people have worshiped on Saturday, which is their Sabbath day, maybe the 7th Day Adventist are following, I'm not sure.
Also, fyi, the reason why the Christian denominations worship on Sunday instead of Saturday is because the early church followers were still Jewish people and went to temple/synagogue on the Sabbath, Saturday, and went to celebrate what Jesus taught them the next day which was Sunday.

The Holy Scriptures describe Saturday as the first day of the week for Jews and Sunday as the first day of the week for Christians. So you can guess what is seventh day of the week for the respective community.

The original "sabbath" is Saturday. When Christian churches have worship service on Sunday, it's because that's the day of the week that Jesus rose from the dead.
Also, in Europe, calendars have Sunday as the last day of the week.

Some people think the week starts with Sunday, others think it starts with Monday. I don't really know a lot about the history on it, but it seems to me as long as you keep a day holy before you begin again with your week, that's a good thing.
