100% pure alcohol will not freeze, but some liqeurs are made from other ingredients as well (fruit juice, cream, etc) and they will freeze. So while you can store vodka and gin in your freezer, putting Kahlua in there would be a bad idea!

All matter has different freezing points. Your refridgerator's freezer is ideal for water which is 32 F. But other liquids like liquor, have a lower freezing point that your freezer is just not cold enough to reach. If you had a more powerful freezer that reached lower temperatures (subzero), then your liquor would eventually freeze. But if you notice, even though it isn't solid, a bottle of liquor in your freezer is a little thicker than one at room temperature.

Anything will freeze if you get it cold enough.
The question is "how cold do you have to get it before it freezes.
pure Methanol, (a wood alcohol), has a freezing point of -94 degrees Centigrade.
Ethanol, (grain alcohol), is about -117 degrees Centigrade
Liquor, having other ingredients, will freeze at a higher temperature than pure alcohol, but below the freezing point of water

The freezing point of ethyl alcohol is -117.3 degrees C so pure alcohol in not likely to freeze anywhere you might take it.

Most liquor is about 40 percent alcohol so it will freeze at a much higher temperature.
