It sounds like your niece is a controlling problem-ridden unhappy person. She may be trying to make up for the death of her father-I wonder what their relationship was like? Might she be worried that you are trying to steal her inheritance? It is sad that someone could jump in the way like that. Assuming you've exhausted all communication possibilities, there's probably nothing you can do. Send her Birthday cards and write to her when you want and just hope for the best. Just enjoy your good memories.

If this is your sister, then go and see her. Be polite and kind to her spinster daughter as the poor girl needs attention. Whatever you do, don't be sad. I love you because you are one of God's beautiful creations. God is the ultimate designer. Let's take this situation over in a peaceful way and read Psalm 35 to (Plead My Cause). Now, it is long, but is will address your concerns about your sister. Ask God to help you by respecting Him and He will do just that. Then read Psalm 4 for (Safety and Protection) against unknown dangers in this world. Remember this my dear child of God, "If God be for us, who can be against us?" - Romans 8:31. Peace and God Bless.

Talk to her and tell her how you feel. Be honest that you miss her and want to have that friendship with her back. Try talking to her daughter too - be honest with her about why she is coming between you and your sister. Let her know that you love her and her mom very much and love to spend time together.

I would tell your sister how you fell for her daughter coming between you guys.. I think she will understand what you are staying and she will spend some time with you.

we don't really know what happened so it's kinda hard to answer your question. just keep trying to get whatever it is straightened out. You and your sister need to be sisters. i have 2 sisters and my sister that is closest to me in age is my very closest friend and confidont in the world. wish u the best and hope things get better

you must be old if you have an 88 yo sister. i vote for gagging the daugther and tossing her in the closet. then you and your sister can talk. you sister is old, don't wait to long.
