Then I would tell those children's parents...to pay Taxes!!! Then sure they can all stay if they pay taxes. Contribute to this Country and your more than welcome to stay here. Dont sponge off tax payers!!!

It depends if they were born in the US or not... if they were born in the US and their parents are illegal, they are known as "anchor babies" because the baby becomes an automatic US citizen and entitled to all federal programs.

Question is does any child really have a choice when they are under their parent's care? I think most parents make these choices for their children whether they are legal or not. Kind-of like relocating... if parents decide they need to move, do they give their kids the choice to stay in their current location or not? Typically not... the children come with the parents whether they like it or not. It is usually life changing and can be sad - they need to make new friends, get used to a new home, environment, etc. but that is just life.

The triviality here is that nobody except the ultra right wing jingoists are in favor of ruining familes of some people, but simultaneously whine about un-born fetuses and "family values". What these masked racists really mean is "family values' for thier white familes and to hell with the nasty little brown people... It is sick, and they are picking on the weak as they always do when they are in trouble or there are threats to thier power structure. The positive side is, so-called "immigrants" have flexed thier muscle on the streets (on May 1,2006) and that put the death-blow on the Sensenbrenner Bill and they will continue to do what no chicken-**** Conservatives can do, organize and make the power structure in the United States satisfy thier needs.

You will sow what you reap and all these racist bigots will have thier day, hopefully in poverty and with problems, then maybe others will talk about thier lives, and thier children with up-turned spoiled brat noses just like the previous answerers to this question have.

SI SE PUEDE !

This one depends upon whether or not the child was born in the United States. If the child is a citizen, it's either going to Mexico with it's deported parent or going into a foster home. If it wasn't born in the United States, it gets to go home. The parents broke our laws and how to deal with their children is THEIR problem, not ours. Deportation.

To err is human but to answer "What about the children?" is just plain manipulative. The children are the parents' sole responsibility not mine nor the rest of the taxpayers'. And to reiterate that the parents maliciously broke the law by coming here illegally. What's concrete is: they want everything free at the expense of others-corruption is in the blood.

It's funny how right away everyone for illegals either sticks out the race card and if that doesn't work, they whipped out the symphaty teary story of children,We have millions of US children that need to be care for and where were all those bleeding hearts before, has anyone thought of the thousands and thousands that those illegals destroyed by using their stolen social security information, many will never be able to collect from the government what they contributed for years,Ted Kennedy wants to reward illegals for money they put on stolen numbers but never mention how victims of those stolen numbers will be compensated

Regardless of the immigration MESS.....children need to be with their parents. GOOD parents are well aware of what they have or haven't done and take the hit for it.

If in a situation like you described.....(10 years of US and then go home to Mexico).....I would hope AS A PARENT they would explain the situation, the children would accept the situation and the children would be happy because we continued to be a family.

In the end......good parenting is not about land...........it is about.....love......basic and simple, I have known NO greater love than that I have for my children.

Peace

If they have been here only 3 years, they go with their parents. If 5 years they go with their parents, children 5 years and younger adjust very easily, but if their 10 and older they should stay. I don't no what your worried about our government isn't doing anything anyway.

No, the children shouldn't stay here if the parents get sent home. The kids go too. It's not our fault that the parents came here. We can't be the Babysitter of the world.

While we are on the subject of reproduction. Why is it my responsibility? I see this guy on TV begging for money. I see scenes of starving Latino girls sadly getting a photo opportunity in muddy water. I feel sorry for these people and who wouldn't? However, I did NOT tell their parents to have sex. If you are a man or a woman and say, "Hey, let's have sex." If you make a baby. . .YOU are responsible for them, not me or that guy or this guy or the Federal Government. If you are broke and poor and have four starving kids. . .Why make another? Si usted no quiere la responsabilidad, no forme a un bebé. Sorry. I did not answer your question.
