Sounds like part of the heater system broke, hose or heater core. You may have over heated the engine and warped the head..good luck!

To check if you have a blown head gasket, open the radiator cap and start the car,or at least crank up the motor. If antifreeze shoots out of the radiator like a geyser, your head gasket is blown or check the oil if it's foamy brown milky color. other than that it just might be the heater core.

As an old ford motor head, I hope I am wrong but check your oil, if it has the appearance of foamy chocolate milk, I think you may have cracked the cylinder head. This is not an amatuer repair, consult with a mechanic, not necessarily a ford dealer but a least an a.s.e. certified mechanic. If your oil looks clean, then you may have blown the heater core, which is not relevant to why the motor won't start but if it cranks, but not starts. you may have blown the timing belt. Hope this Helps

well first the heater core second the restart thing don't sound to good might have blown a head gasket of cracked a head or both and well it could have just over heated and dies to hot, when a car or gasoline motor overheats is vaporises the fuel before it can be properly vaporised by the intake and will die but you could have got it to hot and the motor could be done, good luck, tow to a shop to have a diagnosis first with a estimate

Heater core...Don't keep trying to start it or run it cause you warp the head or cause other engine damage...
