With a sufficiently complicated "code" you can find anything you want in the Bible. The same is true of any other large work such as the Koran, the Lord of the Rings, or the Chronicles of Narnia.
None of these works were written with any real hidden "code." The people who "find" these mysterious Bible codes are really just using wishful thinking and/or deliberate deception to make the Bible say what they want.

There is a Bible code and there might be something to it. But I would not put too much faith in it.
I know that the put Adolph Hitler in and it showed many WWII references. However, how many Adolph Hitlers were there in Germany. I am willing to bet there are still some today, but I don't think they are going to push a fascist regime.
So you can put a name or event in but it is really impossible to link it to a certain person or date. But you can look at stuff that has already happened and say, "Wow, thats neat."

The following challenge was made by Michael Drosnin (author of The Bible Code):
When my critics find a message about the assassination of a prime minister encrypted in Moby Dick, I'll believe them.
(Newsweek, Jun 9, 1997)
See this link to find out how his critics answered him.

YES, I have been told that you can replace the original Hebrew and Greek with the numbers that they represent in the original writings that our Bible comes from and you will get number series that are similar all the way through the NEW and OLD Testament!!!!! Haven't done that personally but it would be exciting to see!!!! Also, what I just read about the Great White Whale story is exciting too!!!! GOD is just every-where isn't HE???? Very exciting!!!!!!!!

The Bible is not meant to be a secret. There are no codes. It is meant to be the word of God for the people of God. There's no reason to encode it.

Matthew 11:25 says '. . because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children."
Once a person is born again, it is much easier to understand many of the verses.
