When I was in highschool one of the wrestlers died by cutting weight with salt. This wrestler filled the bathtub with warm water and alot of salt. He sat in the tub drawing the water out of he body.

He lost something like 10 pounds in just water. Then next day while wrestling he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital where he died of sevire dehidration.

If that is what you have in mind, dont do it. Loosing weight like that is only temporary as it is all water weight anyway. You should get your diet and excersize in order.

Since salts hold water, but epsom salts can cause diahrhea, that means you are only losing water weight, which you would put back on in a meal or two. I would instead focus on keeping your diet to 10% fat, and the rest split 55% protein and the rest carbs. Complex, not simple such as sugar.

You want to do cardio about 3-5 times a week, 55-75% of your MHR (220-your age). Mix it up, swimming, jogging, cycling. Take a "spinning" class, they burn a ton of calories and are great for t he legs. Your local YMCA or Ballys or 24hours fitness, should have them. Watch what you eat, high energy food, fruit and vegies, complex carbs.

Exercise, abduction/adduction works outter and inner thighs respectively (abduction means leg away, adduction means leg towards) do squats with your legs together, heel kicks to work your glutes.

I would be glad to give you more advice if you want.

Epsom salts are a powerful laxative. You'll lose weight from that effect, if you know what I mean.

Epsom salt can be used as a laxative when you drink it. I suppose that's how people would lose weight by using it, although I don't know how healthy that is...

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Epsom salts can cause diarrhea, which can cause you to lose weight because you are SICK, sweetie! Abusing laxatives has the same result. It is not worth it, believe me! Lose weight by being more active, not by making yourself so sick you cannot get the exercise you need. That's self-defeating.
