Sure....Freedom of Religion....It's in our Constitution. Now practicing overthrowing the government is treason...which is also in the Constitution...punishable by death.

It isn't really the religion of Islam as a whole that plots to overthrow the US government. It is many of the individual religious leaders in Islam.
The situation is very similar to the one with the Catholic church and child molesters. The entire church cannot be blamed for the actions of the rapists, but every individual that that is involved in the child molestation or with covering it up and protecting the perpetrators should be prosecuted.
The plague of radical fundamentalists in Islam who plot to overthrow Western civilization is much larger and more dangerous than the child molesters in the Catholic church. The US government should arrest all of those involved and have them either deported or imprisoned for life. Sadly, they are instead allowed to continue preaching hate in the name of religious freedom and freedom of speech.

I don't think religion has anything to do with overthrowing a government or anyone for that matter, regardless if it's Christianity or Islam or Judaism. No religion preaches that, but when it comes to people, ideas like this very ill-conceived one pop up.

Technically, it would be allowed from freedom of religion. But they probably wouldn't let them overthrow the government.
By the way, even though it seems like our goverment sucks, (and I agree its not perfect) its probably one of the best in the world. Lots of people have it a lot worse.

Yes, everyone has the right to freedom of religion. Look at it this way: if all the major media outlets decided toban together to overthrow the current government, who could stop them?

NO I believe it is against the law to plot the overthrow of our government. If you are correct another government department is not enforcing our laws. Nothing new about that.

What you fear you attract, although and throughout time this has been a sort of prayer made manifest in the dormant need to placate through constant reminder, you might as well just see it as a business opportunity rather than a denial
