Depends on what you mean by darker. If you mean a dark roast then no heat actually kills caffeine (OK destroys, but kill sounds so much cooler.) So an espresso roast (very dark) has less caffeine then a light roast. The most caffeine can be achieved with a light roast, fine grind and lots of grounds.

Not that it could be greatly measurable. Coffee manufatures are taking big steps to make rich, dark, bold tasting coffees that, through sophisticated processes contain less and even no caffiene.
So darker would not mean stronger at least in caffiene department.

Dark coffee is roasted longer than lighter coffee, so no there is no more or less caffeine.

If you're asking about brewing it longer, then I don't think so.
Buy better quality coffee and yes, it will be stronger.
I think Starbucks carries high quality coffee as well as columbian coffeees.
