if i am 14 weeks pregnant does that mean i am in my second trimester and what month am i in then??

You have just entered the second trimester (each trimest is just over 13 weeks long) and are in the 4th month of pregnancy.

Basically a pregnancy term is 38-40 weeks. 14 weeks is about 3 1/2 months along. You are coming out of the 1st trimester and is about 2 weeks into the 2nd trimester.

You just entered your 2nd trimester at the end of your 13th week (so the 14th week) and it will last until 26 weeks. Don't worry about what month you are in, because the weeks are more accurate. However, if you need to know, you are in your 3rd month. The way they track pregnancy is fairly confusing, since you are actually almost 10 months pregnant (sometimes over 10 months) at the birth. Also, the first two weeks of pregnancy, you aren't actually pregnant. They are just conception.

According to that you are 4 months pregnant as of your LMP. If you calculate by conception date, you are 12 weeks pregnant and just ending your 3rd month. Most docs go by LMP dates, and that is what my doc goes by.

4x9=36 (which is roughly the pregnancy)

Hi, if this is your first, maybe having a calendar might help..every four weeks is one month. So if you are 14 weeks you are about 3 1/2 months, almost going into the 4th month. Hope this helps. :)
