A lot of people are questioning the existence of God.
Maybe this and all questions about the existence of God, is the wrong approach?
Maybe we should be asking does faith exist and were can I get it?
Don’t tell me the Bible or Qu’ran. These books are inspired by God written by man.
The people who wrote it say it was inspired by God, so who knows.
I want to have faith in God. But some of you people must be special.
You have felt God and I haven’t, why is this? I’m a very good person to my friends and family, even a hobo now and then. So it’s not in the heart?
So where’s faith? Can I buy it? Dose it look like a wiget?

I think you can find Faith in the Sharper Image catalogue, towards the back--check alongside those cute little robodogs they sell.
Faith costs like a couple hundred bucks, about the same price as an ionized air filter. Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter advertise it all the time.
Start saving up now, cuz it's gonna take a while to pay for it. I started saving in 3rd grade, then I gave up and bought an IPod.
(j/k: don't have an IPod yet^_^)

Oh good barb, I'm now trembling in my loss of this pretend faith (not).
Jeesh, don't you know what faith is? Faith is knowledge, it is experience. An example would be to ask you to prove to me by faith that the chair you are in won't fall apart in the next ten minutes. Go ahead, without using the manual or the ad on tv that shows testimonials from others who have sat in that chair, tell how you KNOW BEYOND DOUBT that the chair you are in won't fall down. Then show me where that exists.
That's faith.

Faith is simply strong belief - and believe it or not you already have faith. When we hope for something to happen, we are using our faith. When we expect something to happen, we are using our faith. When we are afraid that something is going to happen, we are also using our faith.
Faith has to do with the unknowable - an unreasonable (or at least unverified) belief in something. We have faith in human kindness, faith in ourselves, faith in our family and friends, faith in love.
When people say they hear god talking to them - what do they mean? Very often they mean words spontaneously appeared in their head. Some of us call it a brainstorm or a great idea - other's say it was god talking to them. Some times people say god kept them from getting on that fateful plane ride - others say it was intuition, gut instinct, or coincidence.
You don't need faith in god to have faith. I personally believe in myself (a "higher self" that is still ultimately me). Other's do have faith in humanity - that humanity is basically good and life will be well in the end. Some have faith in Science - better living through chemicals and medical advancement.
The books that inspire me are Louise Hay's "you can heal your life", Tom Robbins' "Jitterbug Perfume", and almost anything by Robert Heinlein, Chuck Hillig and Kurt Vonnegut.

If God exists, God will survive the strictest science and if you truly have "God" in your life you don't need to prove it to others or for that matter force others to believe like you, cause you know all things come in good time to the truth. Also faith comes in when you can’t find the answers. When you have the answers and choose to ignore them, that's not faith, that's stupidity.

I started to ride my bike to town one day late in the afternoon. At the last second, I decided to take my little sports-car. Half-mile down the road, it was almost dark, I hit a telephone wire that cut my driver-side mirror in half, if I had been on my bike----well GOD saved me from that one----then later, YEARS LATER, GOD SAVED ME. I wasn't special(HE LOVES EVERY-BODY the SAME) HE just knew that I would get saved(free-will) later in life. YOU will not know what FAITH IS untill you accept JESUS as your SAVIOUR. That's just the way it works. Getting your Spiritman RECREATED, affects your mind(both of them), you can then start to BELIEVE in GOD and HIS STUFF (Salvation i.e. healing, protection, provision etc.) using FAITH. nough said. Thank-you for listening, hope this helps.

You don't shop WalMart, do you? It is in a blister pack, peg racked with the bras in the women's department. occasionally, it goes on sale, 2 for 1 special. I think a lot of people here wait for the sale, because they have cups overflowing with religious babble. IT is packed in a white package (what else?) with a full set of instructions, number 5 states: Thou shalt tithe fully 10% of thy salary to the minister of your choice * (after the * are 3 names to send money to if you have no specific choices. )

It usually comes from the way you are raised.
Some of us get to a certain age and realize it's nonsensical. I don't know how you could ever go back. Some people say they have, but I haven't heard them explain it.

LOL. Nobody's special!
And you don't have to look far at all. Search within the depths of your heart and you'll find it... then allow yourself to feel it, too. Let go and let God...
Peace be with you!
