I believe the term is not so much qi gong massage, but external qi gong, where the practitioner emits and channels qi from his hand in order to promote healing in the patient.

The principles and system of external qi gong is similar to acupuncture. External qi gong healing is based on the principle that there are 12 meridians or channels from which energy flows. While acupuncture needles can direct energy into the meridians for therapeutic purposes, a more powerful way is to channel chi (qi) at a distance (without touching the patient), to remove blackages and to facilitate the movement of chi in the patient. The channeling of chi from the practitioner into the patient is carried out through the intention, or the thought processes of the practitioner.

Since chi is available in abundance in the universe, the practitioner would harness this energy, and use their body as a conduit in order to convey it into the patient. In most external qi gong disciplines, the practitioner must practice for about an hour to replenish their own chi, as it had been depleted through the healing of patients.

I can advise you only. If you do find the way to channel your chi energy, be extremely careful. Protect yourself with White and blue light thoughts, and wrap your clients in thoughts of pink light.

Entering someones energy field for massage requires much preparation. There are people who will vampire your energy if you are open to giving chi energy. It is naturally coming from you.The main focus is that your client is responsible for his own energy, by breathing techniques. I have been a Massage Therapist in the Medical field since 1983. My incest survivor patients required so much energy, I ended up with an arrhythmia. I gave too much.
Take care, Prepare....................
