It was customary in their culture, for men and women to be separated. They didn't do much at all with each other until it was time to help populate the tribe.

The last supper had nothing at all to do with homosexuality. The absence of female companionship at dinner would not mean none of them had female companionship.

there is a book out called "who cooked the last supper". There is a whole world of people out there that do not believe that all the people at the last supper were men. Also yes it probably was lamb or such. I don't know if God actually hates homosexuality, I think its possible that it was not even a issue then. My opinion is that homosexuality is a choice and it only came about when there were no women or animals available so maybe God never dealt with it.

At that time, women did not have equal rights. The only women that followed a caravan of travellers were prostitutes and fortune tellers. Mary Magdelene became the exception. At the last supper they were celebrating Passover. When the angel of death passed over the jews homes that had the lambs blood on them in Egypt, when every first born died. Yes they ate lamb, bitter herbs. It was not meant to be a feast, but a rememberance of Gods goodness to the Jews.

Well actually they weren't all men in the last supper. The one sitting next to God is a women, her name is Maria Magdalena. And I'm not sure about God hating homosexuality because he loves everyone no matter what.

It wasn't. Havn't you seen the Di Vinci Code? =)

Seriously, though, God does not hate homosexuals in any religion I am aware of. He hates sin and many religions see sex without procreative purpose as a waste, or as sin, since waste is sinful. Such that fornication, adultery, homosexual acts, etc., are all considered sin.

This has nothing to do with why all the men at the last supper were ... er ... men, but your question has nothing to do why god hates homosexual acts either (in Judeo-Christian circles anyway) so I guess we're even. =)

Because this is what Jesus wanted. The disciples was with Jesus all the time except when he was captured and turned on to the Pharisees. Homosexuality has no connection to this. Homosexuality is just wrong. The last supper was the communion. No meat involved.

most will say lamb

God must find homosexuality quite amusing! All the parts fit sooo well together and help make so much pleasure.

Oh! forget the S and G story, and the Leviticus thing. The writers and editors of those matters were having some kinky moments then.

Paul, James, Peter, and Jude were simply nuts much of the time.

There is a difference between platonnic friendship between men and sexual relations between men. They probably had lamb, bitter herbs, unleavened bread(motzoh) and unfermented wine. Also a kind of ground up fruit dish that represented mortar which was used by the Hebrews when they were slaves in Egypt.
