It's a new experience so you feel scared not knowing what to expect. The other kids feel the same way and they would welcome having a friend. Go out of your way to be friendly and you'll soon find that your fears disappear. By the time camp ends, I bet you'll be sad knowing you won't go back to camp until next summer. Hope you have a wonderful time!

Take: flashlight, cell phone, sunblock, bugspray, book, emergency poncho.

if you have a diary/journal write in it. try to make friends, and trust me, it'll be hard, but it'll make the rest of the campdays easier !
