Alrighty, the kids I babysit always want to play "house". Now, I babysit a girl and a guy. The guy isn't always totaly excited about this. What are some twists on the game that would make it fun for not only the girl, but the boy, too? Something they will both enjoy and think is cool?
Or, if you have any other great babysitting ideas you can tell me them, too! =D

Ummm...the girl is going to be in 3rd grade and the boy is going to be in 1st grade.
How to you play "What Time is It Mr. Wolf"? All I remember is something to do with "It is tiime to eat you". Or something of the sort.

Let the boy have some great exciting job that he can act out. Maybe he coud he an airline pilot or baseball player. Then he could really play is own game and use his own toys, but still be participating.

Get a bunch of sheets from a hotel (They will give the old, clean ones away) and let the kids play at making tents. Kept my kids busy for hours, throw in some bubbles and coloring books, and you've got a day! =0)

Maybe the guy has to fix the house, paint, hammer and stuff, have they got anything that could be used as play tools? Playing with sidewalk chalk outside is always fun. red light/green light is a good game for kids, mine like it fine. Have fun! :-D

You could play role reversal? Have the boy be the stay at home parent and the girl be the bread winner? How does that sound? We did that when we were younger. Grew up two boys and two girls.

Let him work in the "garage" while the mommy is in the house taking care of the babies & whatever she likes to do. He can hammer out there, fix the car, ride his motorcycle, etc.
