A girl goes for looks to begin with and then the personality. Well i do anyway. However,one girl could go for the stereotype of good looks (ie Brad Pitt or Justin Timberlake) or they could go for their own idea of a good looking guy (like i perfer guys like james blunt or Kav from Eskimo Joe (eskimo joe is an aussie band), some girls like geeky looking guys.
However, if his personality doesn't suit then its out for him. Just like guys yeah you could date a red hot female but if she is just dumb or too smart or too up herself then i wouldn't think that the relationship would proceed.
My advice - dress the way you wanna dress and act the way you wanna act and go to were you wanna go - that is were and how you'll find the right girl for you.

A girl notices the look first but a good personality can make or break it, looks last a little while a personality lasts longer and leaves a bigger long term impression.

it depends on the girl. Some girls are all about the looks of a guy. But some girls really want the man with a personality they can get along with, and with some girls the two aspects are equally wheighted. Keep searching.

Hey, i won't lie, looks are great, but personality is what really gets me. Everyone likes a good looking person, that's why it's attractive, but I really do like personalities.

Little bit of both is always good. But personality is better cause looks can be decieving and honesty and truth is always always good :)

Personality is important, but if the man is revoltingly ugly it would be hard to go further.I generarally go for the eyes

well, your not going to attract very many girls if your ugly because thats the first thing you see. personality is best in the long run though
