I have lost cash before and had a friend lose a large sum of money that was to pay for rent and other expenses. I know how devestating it can be and understand the value of having to work hard for every penny so I would do everything I could to find the owner.

I would keep it unless I found it would cause a lot of trouble for some average person. If it were drug money - KEEP
If it were receipts from a business and an employee would get into trouble- Turn in

I have thought about this before, and I would turn it in. I would feel terrible if this happened to me and someone didn't turn it in. Usually people get a reward once the owners have recovered it. But the real reward is knowing that you did a good deed.

I would hold on to it for a while; see if anyone came looking for it. I wouldn't announce that I found money because everyone would stake a claim in it. If no one came looking for the money, I would keep it.

rule 1:money doesnt have a name written of its owner
rule 2:money belongs to who carries it
they are applicable if u have really found the money (didnot steal)and u really donot know of its legitimate owner.
else u r just but a robber

I'd know and so would God! I would try my best to find the owner and if I couldn't, I would keep half and give half to my church.

I would keep it myself. If there is a person's address or some kind of identity, I will contact them. Else I will keep it.

I would turn it into the police.
my purse got stolen once, I couldn't ever live with myself if I did it to someone else.
