When I do move into this house where the lady died, and if she does haunt it, would it be wrong for me to let her stay there and not cross over?. I really want to live with a ghost, because I have always had an interest in interacting with them. She died as an old lady and also do you think she will try to harm me in any way while I try to sleep at night?

I need believers only to answer this question. I prefer no skeptics or non believers. I believe in ghosts no matter what others say.

Nope, sort of a built in room mate that doesn 't mess up the house or eat your food out of the fridge...perfect. Now, if she will just pay half the rent, it would be even better.

We'll assume the ghost is real for the sake of your question:

I think you have no choice but to accept the ghost if it really is there. There is a show on TV called Ghost Hunters (I think) and they investigate this stuff. I would take an interest in that and maybe you can pick up some tips for trying to communicate.

Ghosts have been known to terrorize people, although it is extremely rare as these stories go. I would still proceed with caution.

Probably she would not be a harmful ghost. Just as likely she would not really have a connection to you that you could work through. Most ghosts are said to be tied to events, places or people that had to do with their life. You have none of these so I would not get your hopes up that you would have some sort of meaningful intereaction with a ghost.

Again...I honestly believe in ghosts. I have worked in funeral homes & my offices were surrounded by the cemetary. Like you, I "wanted" to see a ghost...I even sat in my office chair on my first day there & said outloud to no one else in the room, "Look, I'm here now...and if anyone has any problems...with anything at all, I'm willing to listen "right" now..Come on..let's just get it out in the open & talk about it". Nothing happened..despite others of credibility telling me that they had heard ghosts. Secretly, I think they loved me being there & brightening up the place with my scented candles, my cds & my cd player that I brought from my home! I'm sure that any ghost that was there...would have been happy to break the long silence & boredom! I was often the first one to arrive for work & the one to leave...I never felt that I was ever in any danger. In fact, I always felt quite protected by loving spirits. I do not believe that she will try to harm you in any way. If you "do" by some strange chance happen to encounter a spirit...just ask that spirit to share it's knowledge with you. Think positive from the very beginning...You'll find no danger there...

It depnds on how attached she was to the house. My grandmother lived in a duplex and an old lady that lived upstairs (my grandma lived downstairs) died sometime ago, but she was still hanging around. It was the hosue she was living in when she did d and she really liked living there when she was alive. There were cold spots there and sometimes a sort of creepy feeling hair-standing-on the back of your neck effect. But she didn't do any harm. So if the old lady is hanging around, she's probably harmless.

I think it would be wrong for you to try to keep her here instead of helping her cross over. I believe those who have not crossed over are lost and need help. Of course if she doesn't want to go, then there's nothing you can do but live with her. If you are really interested in interacting, then it seems to me that helping her cross over would be a very positive interaction!

It's not like you see in the movies. Like the ghost and Mrs. Muir. Interacting with spirits is dangerous. It could be a demon posing as this woman. Or she can become volatile. Dont mess around with things you don't understand for your own selfish desires. Remember, you reap what you sew......karma......take heed.

Steve, this old lady did not know you on life and I don't think that she will do nothing to you but protect from harm. Sweet dreams.

Ghosts are not disembodied souls of dead people, they are either demons trying to scare you or angels bringing a message. Find out which it is then decide what to do with it.

You don't have any power to keep her (like a pet) or tell her to go (like a pest). She can't harm you, and in all likelihood has no interest in spending any more time in that house.

Set your mind on things above. Jesus Christ wants you to focus on Him.
