I support the troops in the fact that they are doing a job that they are ordered to do and they are risking their lives to do that job. I put fire fighters, policemen, etc. in the same category. I support them as well.

I do not support the war in Iraq or the Bush administration. I think this war began on lies and deception. I think too many human lives have been lost, both American and Iraqi.

It's time to bring our men and women home, before any more lives are needlessly lost.

Support the soldiers in Iraq? I was a soldier in Iraq. I support them all. I would go back for a second tour if need be. I refuse to standby and let terrorism make Americans feel fear in their homeland -not on my watch.

Yes I support the soldiers in Iraq. They are doing the best they can to keep our country safe. They're the reason we are able to live in a free country right now, & the reason we can sleep safely at night. They protect us.

YES, I don't care what you see on the news, they are not always showing what are men/women are doing over there or the good that is coming out of it. It's always the horrors of war they show not anything other than that. I think they are doing a great job, to help Iraq on it's quest to be a democracy that the insurgents don't want to see happen. They are under so much stress and see things daily that we could not want to experience. Freedom is not Free. I thank god daily for people who join the service.

I support them in that they know not what they are doing... I pity them. But I support them and think they will need so much help when they come home, and as victims of Bush's war we all need to support them.

But (and there is always a but), for those who know what they are doing, I ask - how can these people who think they are adhering to such a time-honored tradition of being in the US military, go to Iraq knowing we waged war based on a misrepresentation and lies?

It was a betrayal of the trust of the American people. And these lies were a betrayal of the trust of the military and the soldiers.

I will never support that.

That is the most assinine question!!!

Why do the THUGS assume that there is no way to support the soldiers, without supporting the policy?

Of course we support the troops!!!

The war, however, should have never been started, and can't end quick enough!!!

ONEANGRYDEMOCRAT responded to a question of mine with this.... so dont let him tell you that he supports troops.....

"I find it incredible that someone in the military would question the politics of an American taxpayer, left, or right.

If you aren't defending my right to free speech, then your sorry butt is sitting over there, wasting my tax dollars.

I don't believe that any real Marine talks like that.

I'm supporting out troops seven days a week!
