Sounds like a wierd question, but, would you give up everything [including your life] to see that your mother is happy? Everything means everything.

this is a very tough questions my mom is very happy and i think losing me will only make her sad, however if i had to choose between who loves her or me then i would happily give up my life for to live

Sad to say this, but I don't think so (not really sure, honestly). My mother died many years ago, and I don't think I meant much to her, so we were not close. But...I would give up everything on this earth including my life for my adopted daughter, whom I love more than I thought humanly possible. In fact, she helped me understand what the love between a parent and child is supposed to feel like. She has been my salvation, and she's not even four years old yet. For the people who said "No" probably didn't have a good mother to think that their mom is even worth it.
For the people that said "Yes" , knows what a true mother's love is and it is unselfish because she is or was a good mother and would even give up her own life to make you happy cause in return that is what she taught you, never to be selfish even if someone's life depended on it!!!!

NO! The only thing that any mother wants is to see her children happy and thrive. The worst possible thing a mother could imagine would be a world without her beloved child. If you gave your life - nothing would make her happy ever again.

No, because a lot of things my mom could do to make herself happier, I don't think she does them. I hope that's not mean, but I just feel like each person has to make an effort in finding their own happiness. Plus she doesn't go out of her way to make me happy with things that don't require much at all, and didn't when I was a child either. But I still love her very much.

I am a mother and I would never want my sons to give up everything, especially their life, for me. I would do that for them. Without them and my grand kids, I wouldn't have a happy life.

You know I know there are going to be people out there that hate there moms for something of somewhat, but I would give up everything. You have ideal how much love there is from your mothers no matter what they say, and I would because my mom loves me so much that she would do the same thing for me.

A life is a life - how would you feel if you in the reverse situation?
You should value everyones life no mater what the circumstances.
Once that person has gone the person is gone, and there is nothing you or anybody can do to bring them back!!!

No, she would never be able to live with herself if I did. That's ridiculous. A mother would sacrifice herself to save a child's life, for a child to give up her life so her mother lives better is a perversion

No, I would not give up everything but i would try to find a compromise or another way to make her happy. However I would not drive myself nuts over it. She is an adult and ultimatley responsible for her own happiness.
