Round blue tablet imprinted P 542 is 220 mg naproxen sodium (generic Aleve). It's a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that relieves mild to moderate pain.

I take a blue pill that size but its for bp and my guy had cholesterol pills that color. Maybe he has a prescription its not uncommon for guys to put pills they need to take in their pocket.

take it to a pharmacy ...that is the only way to know for sure...i use to have a book on drugs that are out but i do not have a new one... it is hard to tell for sure anyway...this is the best i can suggest anyway....
