I am goin to england for 3 weeks and I want to get a portable dvd player for the plane ride there and back(which will be over 20 hours to get there) i also plan to use it while I am there..How does it work? How do I charge it?

well it work gr8 n once u charge it full u can see 2 -3 movies

You can buy a converter for the flight (can also be used in the car), check out your local office supplier.........to use it in England you need a converter to their outlet, also at your local office supplier, or for sure at a travel store in England. I recommend the player with no batteries, it's less bulky, and batteries are expensive.
If you have a laptop, it's possible to download software so you can play DVDs from http://www.download.com. These are for the most part free. To run it on the plane, get the same converter I mentioned first, Targus makes one for appr $50. This way you'll not use your batteries. And if you already have a laptop, maybe it has a DVD player installed? Just for fun, check out the prices on laptops at this site:
