hangover is the bodies reaction to shock dehydration. alcohol replaces the water in your blood stream.
this causes the muscles to ache because they are not getting water (including the brain).
to cure a hangover before you go to bed drink a 16-24 oz bottle of water. put another bottle of water and/or gatoride/poweraide next to the bed to chug as soon as you wake up. if you wake up to pee during the night get a drink of water or juice before going back to bed each time.
in the morning take 2 tylenol & chug the other bottle of water - then follow up with a breakfast which includes juice or watery fruit like oranges, grapefruit or melon.

This is a tried and true cure:
Whatever you were drinking the night before, have one drink in the morning. After that take an aspirin. Be careful mixing the two, as both thin the blood.
If you feel up to it, eat something, the higher in carbs and fat, the better.
About an hour after the drink, make sure you drink plenty of water.
Good luck, and happy drinking!

Lots of water. Most hangover symptoms are caused by dehydration.
You can prevent or reduce hangover by drinking a glass of water after each alcoholic drink. You should drink more water than alcoholic beverage because each drink causes you to pee more than the volume of the drink.
I pretty much stopped drinking when I learned that 10% of the people who drink become alcoholics.

Your "Best Answer" seems to make a lot of sense....additionally, what works for me is a freshly-opened small can of Sprite. There's 'something about Sprite' that does the trick! As soon as you pop the tab, pour it quickly into a cup and drink it as soon as possible to get all of those helpful fizzy bubbles in your stomach....and take it with some kind of store-bought pain reliever (acetaminophen, etc.) too. The bubbles act like Alka-Seltzer.

There's pills they sell that you can take b4 u start drinking to avoid a hangover(I don't remember the name of them).I took them once and they really did work. The only problem is that if you have to take them every few hours. They sell them at any major drug store.

Start with prevention, while drinking make sure you also drink lots of water. The next day, take some Airborne, then get to McDonalds and order a large fries and Coke.

An IV (intravenous) bag of a rehydrating solution like SSC. Med students do it. I'd say that is nuts, but it probably works. Try Red Bull (orally!), it's loaded with taurine and B vitamins.
Also, don't drink more than an ounce of alcohol per hour or more than two ounces a day or you will wreck your liver. Drink with moderation and don't drive. Believe me, I know.
