Haha really? I usually brush mine for about 1-2 mins. Mine feels clean after that. I also floss most of the time after I brush. I'm not sure brushing for 20 mins is that good on your teeth though. It may brush the enamel off. So be careful!

My grandmother was a dental-hygienist and I used to brush my teeth with her when I'd stay over at her house. I always felt like I had to do mine for as long as she was doing hers or else she'd be disappointed in me. So I'd brush them for what seemed like hours, and then floss them for the same amount of time. It was probably no more than 20 minutes or so...but to a little kid it was aaaages!

I have never really timed it,, but I am sure I should be brushig for 2 mins each time. I just brushed till I have reached all areas,, including the 2nd molars and behind them,, the mesial, and the distal area,,,and the most important,, my gums, and tongue!

It is a great feeling but as you get older you may have receded gum lines, which can eventually lead to loss of bone, tooth or at least pain. Ask your dentist, you should be seeing him as anal as you are about teeth.

I don't really take count on how long I brush my teeth. I do however take count on how long I don't brush. My record is 13 days of not brushing my teeth. I don't recommend this to anyone.

like 10 minutes. I think more than 10 minutes your gums are not gonna be able to take the friction and they are gonna bleed like liver.
