Do you think many from your nation are losing their morals? Of course it happened here-Money and greed been that way for some time. Your country was very religious for a long time. I see now-Illegal activity -drugs-demands-disrespect-revelries-quarreling-obscene jesting-ridiculing-
stealing, threatening, misuse of funds- gluttony-foolish idle talk-complaining-bragging-wrong and bad doing practices-growing gangs-pride-laziness-jealousy-greediness-envy-cowardice-egotism and so on.
What the world once saw in Mexico of moral good religious people-we are not seeing now the opposite.
Without excuses (their poor-hurting- because others have that) do the good people here see a trend in an immoral growing generation from their county? And hey-it happens to the best of us. Or do you not see it?

I am beginning to think some can not read all and just pick parts. I want to know if people see a decline in morals or not. I already said we have it. So back to the question and quit acting like its you only.

I believe that there has been a drop of morals, big time. And you are right to say so. Not that the world hasn't that same problem which you said. We notice it more there because of their religious history before. My friends from church who are from Mexico say the very same thing. Very sad but very true. And looking at some of the remarks some spoke without reading or thinking. I am sure if confronted they would say they have a good reason but there really isn't a excuse is there EVER for that. Your question is very good and how true. Its a new generation now there and they are nothing like their parents. Happens all over but people use to look at them as a much more religious nation than now.

First of all, there is no one here at BARBARA from the nation of Mexico. We are all home grown Americans.

Secondly, with all your goodie-two-shoes mentality, who are you to judge any nation? Did you to mean to sound intelligent? You can hardly express yourself in English!! What are you talking about, girl? Every issue you attempt to address is happening inside our American communities. Or was the latest bikini-killer-rapist from anywhere but the good old USA? Or what, that's moral because he's a white person, and legal? Get a grip! Do you honestly depend on the answers of Sugar Pie? What a joke? You must be a kid! What are your smoking -- certainly not your peace pipe. You need to hook up with GW - he likes bombing nations. You are the one who wants to bomb Mexico...how moral and righteous is that? Shut up, already!

...well, maybe if your question was better written, we may have understood your point....

Yeah sure since now we are judging everyone we dont know! Whats up with this question? Do you seriously think illegals are the only ones that are causing crime in America? Mexico is having a high crime rate because the main issue was work. Most people in mexico are poor and dont have good jobs. Thus resulting in mexican drug cartels. But then again every nation has its issues, right?

There are still respectable people from Mexico but the undesirable outnumbered the good ones. Some maybe desirables enough but tend to usurp our social services and education. Attending mass regularly with the entire family makes them devout Catholics is rather unfounded. As it made me less Catholic for not believing in helping others if they can't stand on their own two feet anymore. There is personal responsibility of helping yourself before relying on others. I will not be a partner with the church of taking advantage of what others can give you. And if you are an illegal immigrant- the more reason I'm not obligated to help. I will continuously use their religious services with no monetary donations whatsoever. Besides, I'm already subsidizing illegal immigrants by paying taxes. In a way, I'm inadvertently helping those the church wants me to help.

ok here's my 2 cents worth! keep in mind,I am not defending the illegals!.......but have you considered this: If you are talking about the decline of morals by the younger generation,is it not a fact that they more than likely grew up in the USA? So if that be the case, wouldn't it have been the American life style that was the role model for them? There fore are the Americans to blame for the decline of their morals? And as far as including the Catholic's,to be honest catholics scare the hell out of me!
That's just my 2 cents worth!

Yes you are correct. The mexicans in the past were known to be God fearing, family loving and respectable people. Their reputation now have changed. They feel that only White people are criticizing them or not trusting them. That is wrong, because other races do not trust them either. Now the real question is, should society be blamed for their bad reputation or did they do it to themselves by showing their true color?

Americans no longer have a conscience nor do they have morals. This was taught to us by the government in that the level of immorality and dishonesty among our government officials is astounding. We become what we are taught.
