Spiritual discernment and speaking in tongues are gifts and manifestations of the Holy spirit. These are my gifts.Therefore whoever says that speaking tongues is not a gift is wrong. Good question!

Wow, there are some cool answers here. I think mine is understanding - seeing when things have a spiritual overtone and how people are thinking. It doesn't always work 100%, but with creative writing I get to see things from different points of view. I think faith and believing the testimonies of others is also a good gift to have. You also need discernment of spirits so you know which people to believe. I am working on those as well. A sense of humor is also a rare gift, and it can lead to helping as a peacemaker. I also think music is a gift, as you can use it to teach others about spiritual truths. The best gift of all is charity or the pure love of Christ, which also takes some work and letting go of pride and judgment.

If you've the Holy Spirit on your center then you are going to real feel evil round you. Not a present, simply the Spirit speakme to you. You will have to examine examples within the Bible even though. Usually it's demonic spirits that feel the Holy Spirit in you and can react with weird behaviors. Prophecy and no I do not tell the future prophesy means truth telling. And we only have one.
Speaking in tongues is not a spiritual gift it is a manifestation of the holy spirit.

The manifestations of the Spirit are listed in 1 Corinthians 12.

I guess Paul is wrong then if speaking in tongues is a gift Look above or in your Bible if that makes you more comfortable.

A gift is something that is your calling, it is used for your ministry. Manifestations are things that can come and go like speaking in tongues or healing or a word of knowledge.

Many people (especially pentecostals) have not understood correctly.
