In the 5 books of Moses it was written that god revelaed him selves to thousands. He appeared in a Pillar of cloud. But what makes me wonder is when God landed on a mountaqin he warned Moses that anyoen that comes close tohim, he will kill. Why would god kill anyone that wants to get close to him?? This is written in the old testement

He doesn't have to show himself constantly, it is not a model but a God! and besides why do people need to see him in order to believe in him?? in every one of us there is god, he loves us and cares for us, he never does lose his love for us, but we do!! why?? because we don't see him present between us. he cant be between us he is God, the higher force and not a member!!

God shows up all the time. If you read the word then you would know that his spirit shows up not his physcial body. He has done his mission down here. When he decends down from heaven he's coming to get the people of God. Just because you can't see God doesn't mean that he isn't here.
People that don't believe in God will probably not see him because there is no connection.
God have said in his word to seek his face. You will see God if you have a desire to see him, but if you don't believe then you want see a thing.

One of the most basic questions of the unbeliever, and I don't blame you. I wondered this years ago, and realized that back in the days this was written, many people were 'finding god' and writing it down.
Anyone that studies history very thouroughly will discover that man goes thru certain periods in time, like a philisophical era, an era where he explores his surroundings, wonders about space, etc...When monotheism finally made it's way into man's philosophy, it was like a flash of light. It just made so much more sense than having many gods.

God did show hisself 5000 yeasr ago and it WAS true! Sometime in the future hes going to come down again and take all of the Christians and all non-Christians won't know what happened because it'll be in a wink of an eye. After that the non-Christians will be living in 7 years of life like the devil. IT WILL NOT BE A PLEASANT LIFESTYLE!!

God still reveals Himself today, just not to the world. A natural man is of the world and the natural man is an enemy of God. Why would God reveal Himself to his enemy except to save us (which He has already done)?

God is not doing sign and wonders today. He is dealing with the present time by His Son and what He did on the cross for the world. He died for our sins, He was buried and rose again the third day for our justification. Salvation is based on what He did for us and not we can do for Him. We walk by faith and not by sight. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

There are several reasons, and probably many more which we'll never know, as we're not God.
The primary things to consider, though, are:
A) He didn't reveal himself in true form, he revealed himself in a human body.
B) He revealed himself to only one person, and that was a person who already believed in him.
and
C) He didn't reveal that it was him, until after he was already gone from that human form.

God reveals Himself daily in the air that we breathe, the beauty of His creation, the love we sometimes show to each other, the gifts He has blessed each of us with, etc,etc, etc. Wake up!
