Drunk is fun place to be temporarily. Also, alcohol is an addiction, it deteriorates the brain cells, and it is the great escape.
Not Drinking is very difficult. Drinking is easy. Face your enemy straight on. Make a deal with yourself, to find other ways of escaping the part of life that sends you to the nearest bottle. When you think of a good reason to have a drink. Out-think yourself, figure out a better way to escape. Try nature. Breathe, walk on the beach, let go of all the garbage. If you go back to thinking the drink is good, slap yourself around a little, and get your thinking back on track.
If you have someone who is an enabler, maybe you two aren't good for each other at this time in your life.
Iv'e seen the after effects of alcohol abuse up close and personal. I've drug them up off the floor, and cleaned up their messes. The final assault to the brain, and now I am telling you down and dirty, Alzheimers gets a leg up with Alcohol.
You go get em tiger, get your own vibrations going.
Drop the booze. Now. Do it now. You can do it.

You are always drunk because you are consuming too much alcohol. You are hiding from your feelings or stress or perhaps life itself. If you were happy you wouldn't be drunk all the time. Find out what is bothering you and then you may stop the drinking. It may be too late to stop on your own. You may need to go to Alcoholics Anonymous and try that 12 step program.

Without knowing you, it is not possible to provide a definitive answer. Generally, however my personal experience tells me that one drinks to cover up intense emotional pain. Addictions, no matter how they are justified, are substitutes for satisfying relationships. After my divorce, I stayed "medicated" for at least 6 months. Although I felt that it was necessary to abate my screaming misery, the numbing effects of alcohol delayed my ability to address the causes for my suffering.
You affirm your desire for change by asking this essential question. Underneath this drugged condition, you are a wonderful, kind, perceptive and intelligent human being. i would encourage you to lighten up on the drinking so that you can discover the real creative YOU! There are people available to help give you the tools for recovery.

because you always drink, you dream you are drinking, your breakfast includes a drink, your lunch includes drink, you snack includes drink, your dinner includes drink, you drink while you watch TV, talk to your friends, while at a party, while chasing that rat around the house, you are also drinking while you asked this question, and you probably drink when you pick my answer as best.
