i mean some people say that illegals are against the law etc. its not like they are perfect and have never done something illegal. "now you respect laws right", how pathetic. others say that they're against the prison system killings, but they support the american troops that die evry single day. bush is manipulating this people and what i see is most americans are brain washed. that is just sad.

this is my opinion on illegal immigrants:
in my mind, if you are coming to this country as an ILLEGAL alien, then you are doing something illegal. when someone who is a legal citizen of this country does something that falls under the same illegal category, (i.e. rape, murder, sexual assault, burglarizing someone's property,) they are punished for it, so i dont see why some people think this is any different. if all the murderers in america decided that murdering people was not wrong, would we let all the murderers free and let them live among the rest of the population and kill people as they please? i didnt think so. why, then, do some people feel that entering this country illegally is not a crime? i say, if we dont punish illegal aliens who are coming here, then we shouldn't have to punish anyone else who does anything illegally.
---also, i am not racist. i have nothing against people of different races and ethnic backrounds. my biggest question is, WHY dont these people just apply for citizenship legally? in my opinion, the reason the majority of them come illegally, is either for financial reassons, or because they are englishly illiterate and couldn't pass a citizenship test if thet had to take one. if they cannot read, write and speak in the language of this country, how can they live and work here? i think that if you are coming to our country, you should learn to speak our language, not the other way around. i also think that the vast majority of americans who refuse to learn spanish are just lazy, i think americans need to work on that also, im not saying we're perfect.
---also, most of the time i hear people arguing for the illegal aliens, they do it in a manner such as you did, with disrespect, name calling, rudeness, profane language, etc. people would take you more seriously if you would respect other's opinions and be respectful when you retaliate.

I don't really care. I just find it funny that you're rambling on making a fool of yourself. Adding details that are just plain ignorant. I think in general people feel that if they, or someone else, break the law and are caught, they should pay the price. Being here illegally isn't a one time thing. It is not a problem because of the dirt they scuff passing the border. The problem is the daily drain on funds needed for services like education for those here legally. People who say they are here illegally are saying they should pay the price on the books for the crime they committed.

You obviously only want answers that agree with you. It happens that I don't.

And yes, I have seen some children be affected. My own.

Are you one of these hypocritical Americans? You took an oath, just about every day in grade school. That is if you went to school. In it you said;

I think people who are defending illegals are guilty of being traitors. They are standing up for Mexico and not the US. Where is the justice if we are not going to do something about the illegal entry into this great country of ours. If you want the liberty, become an American legally. Your question evades the definition of hypocrite.

You assert that "if you've ever done anything illegal, but tell somebody else what they do is illegal, you are a hypocrite." It is not hypocracy to point out ones crime if you've commited one previously.

Our society sets the definition of certain behaviours as crimes. The person committing a crime, if caught, would be subject to a form of predetermined punishment.

The only time our system would verge on hypocracy is if we allow one crime to go unpunished, but punish other crimes. Our nation would be full of hypocrites if we allow illegal immigrants amnesty, yet continue to punish other crimes.
