The thing you need to remember is that God is perfect, but his followers aren't. I suggest praying about it. The big thing is if you believe your church is true. The Lord will let you know. If you feel it is, then it's more important to do as the Savior did and forgive, if it isn't, then it won't be hard to leave.

Yes.
I left a church when one of the ministers told me that God told him that I had been going to pool halls and that I needed to repent and stop going to such places.
I had never been to a pool hall and didn't even know what one was. I went home and asked my mom what a pool hall was.
I never went back because if a person has the balls to lie on god there is no telling what else they will do.
Bearing false witness is directly against the ten commandments. "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire."
The truth is there no PERFECT church, but telling lies is not an acceptable thing for people who work for a ministry.
I would not only leave, but also write a letter to the pastor describing the reason you left.

unfortunately you're going to find bad people at any church you attend. this is the reason that i never joined a church back when i was a church goer. didn't bother me any because i never really believed the same things they did, or in the same way.
if you believe what your church is teaching then you're probably just as well staying where you're at. on the other hand, if those people are bothering you to the point of real anger, and this happens all the time you might want to go to another church.
you do have to realize also that you don't need a formal church envirnment to be saved.

Alright, quite honestly I am not a big fan of church myself, because it doesn't say that you must go to church in order to worship, wherever your heart desires may be your temple. If you must go to a church though, because the "positive" influence helps you feel closer to god, then I would find a different church, because if you go to a church where some one has lied to you, when you go there you will think more about how they lied to you, then of how you should be connecting with your god.

Yes. There are many different churches. Go to a few different ones until you find a church that feels right to you. Or you can take a break from church and learn about God yourself then maybe later go back to a church after doing your own reseach.

You know, churches are man-made and therefore destined to fail...they are not perfect, never will be but it is a place to congregate with like minded people to edify your soul & purpose...all people sin..but I do think praying about this will help you and don't get discouraged if the answer doesn't come immediately. Try other churches...they're like shoes...you gotta find one that fits you.

If you are comfortable with your church, then simply pray and ask what you should do. If it was me, I would confront the ones you feel lied to me and have it out.

If a person ever lies, then they are never Christian. There are no exceptions, no justifiable ies, no little white lies, a lie is a lie. Satan is a liar, and the father of it, so one who lies serves satan, not God.
This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm
