Wisdom can be obtained through experience. Talk to Your Mom, and ask Her why she doesn't seem to like any of the guys that You care for. Ask Her for specifics. You know if Your Mom is a smart woman, and makes good decisions, in Her every day life. IF She does, then chances are She is right here as well. You also know if Your Mom truly loves, and cares for You. She maybe just looking out for Your best interests. It may also be that She has witnessed Her share of Guys, that look right in the beginning, but turn out to be trouble, as time passes. As hard as You think it may be, communication is the key. Go slow, You have a long road ahead, and You know what they say, You may have to kiss a lot of frogs, before You find Your Prince. And no I am not calling Your boyfriend a frog, it is just a saying. Here is another one: By the time we realize that our parents were right, we have children who think we are wrong.
Good Luck and God Bless

I think parents these days are afraid of bad influences on their children, and their mates are the prime suspects on most occasions. Has your mum spent time with them to form the impression she has on them already? Or does she not like how they dress, or act? Ask her about it, and then go about, with your mates, to discredit the reasons she has, and together try to form a better impression.

My mum didn't like my friends at school and she was right all along. They turned out to be horrible people. I hate to say it but my mum does tend to know best. Why don't you invite them round when shes in so she can meet them properly

Just tell her you dont mind if she doesnt like your mates but she needs to trust you and one of the ways to do that is to let you choose your friends and live your life for yourself

Tell her some of the things that you don't like about her mates. Then you can agree to differ. You are individuals even if you are family.

Always listen to your Mum(we call them 'Mom' in the States) She's only thinking about your safety and best interest even if it doesn't seem to be very popular at the time, you'll understand later in your life why she made her decisions.

difficult but im sure your mam will have her reasons justified or not.
i think the answer is you, showing maturity and trust and talking to your mam in a nice way explaining it does not matter what they do or dont do,you will make your own choices, and that your not a lamb following everyone else.try to explain the respect you feel for her,but it would be nice if she could trust you a little.

thats a tough one, bro, as mums go, they are a pretty good judge of charater, so maybe you should trust her on this one, you could try showing your old dear the lighter sides to yout friends ( It kind of works if you put the right spin on it) really you need to put more infomation for people to give a clearer answer
