I was told that 2 tablespoons of vinegar after each meal would help you to lose weight.

It is supposed to help cleanse your body, but I never heard of having 2 tablespoons after each meal. I don't think that would be harmful in such a small amount. I may have to do some research on that and try it out.

Back in the good old days, I was always told to drink a bottle of vinegar to pass a drug test. I never did it ... drink vinegar I mean ...

I've heard that drinking a shot glass of vinegar a day helps with heart disease...so, I don't think there is any harm. It's just hard to swallow down, tho.

No. It actually helped me to lose weight. Any natural acid will work. Grapefruit juice, lemon juice... it interferes with the way your body processes carbohydrates, and reduces your appetite. Do it before a meal, though. It needs to be done on an empty stomach.

NO NO NO not white vinegar!!!! it will rob the body of essential vitamins.You need to take apple cider vinegar.this helps to break down the fats in your body.but take it BEFORE the meal ok

Vinegar is safe to consume...I'm still alive after eating 1000 bags of salt and vinegar chips :)

vinegar is considered a food substance ,not a poison ,
lots of people put it on the salad or in the cooking

if you eat lots of cake and french fries and follow it with two spoons of vinegar ,it will not make you slim.
it is not the vinegar what is slimming .it is what you eat.

It couldn't hurt, although when I've heard about it it's apple cider vinegar.

If you experience any stomach problems, stop doing it.

vinegar is very healthy as long as you don't consume too much. It thins the blood and improves circulation, and helps break down fat, and is very good for your skin. You can also apply it topically to sunburns, it really helps.

You could try it--it won't hurt you. Vinegar is acidic and might help your food break down better.
