She has lied. She should let her mother know the truth. If her mother finds out from someone else that she is not, it can have a huge effect on their relationship.

I see a slight case of jealousy here! Either your jealous that your cousin lost her virginity. Or that she lost it and lied about it and got away with the lie.
It doesnt matter. Why should her mum be asking her that anyway? Obviously her mum must be suspicious of her daughter to be asking her. I would say her mum was going to give her 'the big talk' about contraceptives etc.
As long as your cousin is smart and uses protection.
Her mum isnt dumb. Us parents have eyeballs all over our bodies lol We know when your lying lol
Dont worry about it. The truth will come out eventually. But it should be no concern of yours what shes doing, unless shes doing somthing that is putting her life in danger. THEN you would have good reason to tell her mum, But she wont forgive you in any great hurry if you did.

I know you are unsure of what to do, but really it isn't your business, but I get were you are coming from. This also depends on how old she is, if she is like under 15, I think you should discuss it with your mom, but be prepared not to be trusted and to have the argument of a life time with your cuz. Things will get messy, she will probably throw out some of your secrets, so be prepared, also if she is younger than 13 I would definitely tell your mom cause she may not know the right way to protect her self from HIV and other diseases. Good Luck!

Sometimes it is better to keep the hurtful truth to yourself. My mom told me this. Have you ever had someone tell you something that you wish they hadn't? It's not good to lie, but there is a time and a place for withholding the truth.
On the other hand her mom may be the persistant kind who will find out eventually anyway. So if that's the case she should come clean.

When my cousin was getting married she called me amd asked me What should she do According to the Catholic faith you are not to kneel in front of the Blessed mother if you are not a virgin and not married. She asked me what should she do since her grandmother and our great aunts would be there and wonder why she was not kneeling.
i did not know what to tell her so I asked my mom. She said " I am her aunt and I am telling her to kneel unless she wants to watch her grandmother and great aunts have heart attacked and die right there and then.
So in answer to your question I say "Kneel" let your aunt beleive that she is a virgin no be deal. How will her mom find out she is not one.

nothing unless she is pregnant or ready to go into an arranged marriage where the husband thinks shes still a virgin. Im a mum with the same problem. the only way ill know is by reading her diary or taking her for a pregnancy test. If i read her diary shell hate me 4ever. I have to trust her and if she tells me shes pregnant then well work it out from there.

Nothing. If she chose to lie to her mom then she chose to. Alot of people do it. it's not right but if her mom is going to act a fool even though she know's teens will have sex, then maybe it's best to let her belive her child is an angel. Your cousin is at least 16 years old right? if she is under 15 then she sould not be having sex. If she thinks she could be pregnant or get pregnant or have an std. Or if her partner/boyfriend(s) is too old. Then you need to let your aunt know right away.

I don't think you should do anything. I think a lot of people would tell their parents they are a virgin even if they are not. Her mom probably knows anyway because moms just know that sort of thing.

A lot of people tell their parents that. I had sex when I was 16.. I am now 21, my parents have never asked and I have never told. As long as she is safe there is nothing to worry about. If your friend starts screwing guys randomly and doesn't use protection then it'd be a problem.

If you will not mind your cousin getting upset with you and probably not speaking to you for a while, then you may tell her mom, hopefully she will not tell your cousin it was you that told.
Then again would you be prepared for the consequences that your cousin will have to deal with? (i.e. getting kicked out of the house, getting beat...)

It depends on how old she is. If she is 15 and under the yes. She needs to go to a clinic and be checked for ST D's and put on birth control. If she goes to a clinic they cannot tell her Mother if she say not to. I guess her Mother would find out if she became pregnant though.
