With a hammer and pick on construction paper. Pick it apart and make sure you have plenty of beer and Old Bay seasoning on hand.

Being from new orleans this steaming nonsense sounds repugnant. You're supposed to boil these things with spices so they'll have flavor. It's a damn shame people don't know that Louisiana makes more blue crab than any other state. My suggestion don't eat it if it's steamed because it was prepared by a moron.

Go to a restaurant and order some. Ask the waiter to show you how to open one. It is easy.
Take off the shell, then the legs, and stick your fingers inside the abdomen to pull out the meat.
Break the claws with a wooden mallet and pick out the meat. It's definitely finger food. Old Bay
seasoning is a must! Have a few cold beers if
you're of age-try ice water if not. Like a Lay's
potato chip- you just can't eat one!
