recently watched the movie "Love Story" with Ali McGraw and Ryan O'Neal for the first time. It was very popular back in the 1960's but it's one of those movies I didn't really have a great urge to watch even though it was wildly popular at the time. Watching it in today's more sexually aggressive environment I was amused to see the way people acted around each other—at least in love stories of that era.
Of course the most famous line in the movie is the often repeated "Love means you never have to say you're sorry." No doubt someone thinks that's what love is but I have to strongly disagree. Why shouldn't you tell someone you love that you're sorry for something you've done to cause them sorrow? Why shouldn't you say you're sorry if you've been a fool or abusive or just plain stupid? You'd apologize to a friend or a co-worker, wouldn't you? So why not apologize to your husband or wife—someone you love?
I think love means apologizing when you need to and sometimes even when you don't need to but just to break the silence. Apologizing is simple and a heck of a lot easier than letting a little situation blow up into a marriage threatening incident. "I'm sorry."—how difficult can that be to say if it's important to your husband or wife to hear?
Love means someone who cares how your day was and who is willing to listen to you talk about the unfairness of your boss or the bank or the terrible traffic or the credit bureau or a thousand other annoyances that people encounter every day. Listening without criticizing or giving advice is a major gift you can give someone you love. Sometimes it helps to just say what you're feeling to someone else, to get it all out, and once it's out, life goes on.
Love means silly little gifts for no special occasion, goofy or sappy cards, "just to say I love you" calls in the middle of the day. It might not be your style but it's amazing how someone who has a hard time being romantic around their wife can turn into a romantic fool with their girlfriend.
Love means talking about what's troubling you and not letting little issues become major annoyances because you're too embarrassed or scared to tell your spouse there's a problem. Love also means having a solution or some options for change when you do present a problem.
Love means staying true to your marital commitment and if the time ever comes that you want to break that commitment, love also means breaking that commitment legally and not adulterously. It is easier for a spouse to move past divorce when adultery isn't involved.
Love means letting go of the past and grabbing hold of the present. Mistakes can never be undone and the past should never be used as a whip to keep someone you love in line.
Well, that's my short list of what love is. and what u should look for

I just need someone to be there for me, through thick and thin. And I need someone who realy loves me and cares about me, not the type who is with me because of other superficial things, like status or money. He must give me a sense of security when I am with him. Physical appearance I don't really mind, but it is the personality and character that counts. Physical appearances fade, but if he is kind and understanding and loving, he will make me happy throughout the relationship. However, he must be sociable, and can get along well with my friends, otherwise I'd be miserable trying to get the 2 parties to be amicable. All this aside, it all boils down to how he treats me and how happy I when I am with him. It is all that matters. I have yet to find this particular guy, so wish me luck! And all the best to you too. =)

A book on Magic. Such a book at barns and noble can range from expensive to cheap depending on you budget and his possible interest. Your gift might offer him a place to channel his joker & class clown energy into a positive thing and might even give him a hobby. Such a gift would be beyond price that you intentions are that of a true friend. That would be worth a lot more than the actual gift itself truly rather or not it works it sure shows your thought for him.

i t takes a long time for all these things to develop. it may start with a smile then words then the time begins you argue so that you can learn how to treat each other extreme behaviour ends negatively often. accepting people for the way they are, genuine and caring people are the most successful. determination and communication and compatibility are all important but understanding each other is vital. **** i sound old.

I look for honesty, tenderness, compassion, someone who takes pride in his appearance and isn't afraid to hold hands or show affection in public. Someone who has common interests and enjoys having a good time. Treat me like a queen, I'll in turn treat him like a king.
