Because so far I've got to prove god you need to believe in god and to believe in god you need proof that he exists and to have proof he exists you need to believe in him..... And that the bible says it so it must be true. Errrrm no the bible is just a book that doesn't make it true. So why believe in god what proof is there he exists and don't ask me to prove anything because 1. It isn't relevant this is your turn to defend your beliefs. And 2.If you believe in god you probably wouldn't understand with all the lies you have constantly been told. Feel free to contact me my instant messenger address is on my Q&A page. Oh and don’t ask me to disprove god as lack of evidence means lack of proof.

So why should I open my heart to god if there is no proof he is there to begin with?

Nabiloo the difference is you can feel pain and heat but you can't feel god. And if you want to be a slave to some fictitious super being go ahead and waste your life but no fictitious super being owns me.

Right so no one can provide evidence of god all you can do is question my beliefs and say there isn't a god so you just need to blindly and unquestionlgy accept it. Well I guess that makes me right there isn't any proof of god and so there isn't a god.

I wonder if you can get the bible in E-book format and then all the people can plug in their laptops and PDAs on the train and read it, thinking that all this stuff inside and outside of the train origionally came from God.... Yeh right!

To be blunt, NO, no one can prove the existence of God.
It requires what is called a leap of faith.
I am a believer but I cannot prove the existence of God I can only give reasons for why I believe but that is very different from proving it.
Also something to be careful is mixing up what is truly God vs Religion. Religion in all forms is still man trying to admister the work of God on earth. Being imperfect beings we tend to screw things up. So much of what people may be angery about with God is really not God but is rather man made issues in Religion.
For me though I try to think of it from both sides of the coin. What is the world like because we believe in God VS what would the world be like if we didn't. Much of the law and order that we can attribute to civilization is there partially due to a believe in a God and a believe in an afterlife with retribution for bad acts. Otherwise if there were nothing else to us and no afterlife then I would imagine the world could justifiably exist under the idea of the strong servive.
Personally, I prefer our current civilization as flawed as it is.
I did know a Physicist once who felt he could prove the existence of God but it also took an understanding of Physics much more than what I have.
Oh well just my thoughts.

I know this is long, but it’s worth it.
1) Dons: Don’t know if you realize this but your statement is like saying you’re special and we’re not. How come you can feel God touching your heart and not me? Are you some how better than me? You see saying things like that to people just makes them think something is wrong with them.
2) Nabiloo: Are you a caveman? Do you worship fire yet? (You see where I’m going with this!!) Just because someone can’t explain the universe and everything init, doesn’t mean you have to worship the thing you don’t understand.
And yes I can explain pain! And warm-th or heat.
PAIN: Pain is an unpleasant sensation which may be associated with actual or potential tissue damage and which may have physical and emotional components Despite its unpleasantness, pain is a critical component of the body's defense system. It is part of a rapid warning relay instructing the motor neurons of the central nervous system to minimize detected physical harm.
WARMth or Heat: In physics, heat is defined as energy in transit.[1] Generally, heat is a form of energy associated with the motion of atoms, molecules and other particles which comprise matter. Heat can be created by chemical reactions (such as burning), nuclear reactions (such as fusion taking place inside the Sun), electromagnetic dissipation (as in electric stoves), or mechanical dissipation (such as friction). Heat can be transferred between objects by radiation, conduction and convection. Temperature, defined as the measure of an object to spontaneously give up energy, is used to indicate the level of elementary motion associated with heat. Heat can only be transferred between objects, or areas within an object, with different temperatures, and then only in the direction of the colder body.
3) N9wff: I do believe the following people exists, George Washington, Napoleon Bonaparte, William Shakespeare, Socrates, why?
Because we can dig most of them up, and show you the bodies.
4) Salafi in Madina: I love when people try to use God and logic in the same sentence.
Logic: The study of the principles of reasoning, especially of the structure of propositions as distinguished from their content and of method and validity in deductive reasoning.
Faith: Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence.
Believing in a God is to have Faith. There for you can’t use logic as proof.
5) Zippo: Again no logic here either. You can’t say your proof is: we are here there for there must be a God. If you do then who made God. You also can’t say he always was.
What is easier for people to believe? God was always here or matter was always here?
Belief in God requires faith, belief in matter requires logic.

Lets look at this from a non religious point of view for a moment...
Where did the universe come from, how did it come into being...the big bang theory?....where did the matter come from to support that notion? Where and how did life origionate?
Whatever you choose to call Him, there has to be some kind of supreme being that has always existed and created these things. Weather or not this being is manifested in your own life, only you can answer that, but that does not preclude His existance.

Do you believe the following people exists and why?
George Washington
Napoleon Bonaparte
William Shakespeare
Socrates
Tell me these conclusions:
How is DNA different from everyone who walked this earth?
How do the plants know about photokinesis and to reproduce?
How does your blood cells "know" what to do?
who planted the fish in the ocean and not on land?
Who gave frogs the unique ability to "breathe" in air as well as water?
How did this earth produce a nitrogen-oxide based element we call air?
Who created the "big bang?"
For evolutionists, why did some of apes evolve while the others didn't? Wouldn't you think that all would want to evolve?
How do miracles come about? By coincidence?
when you come to these truths, you may find your answers.

i can't prove with evidence that there is a god, i don't know enough to prove it, but there are scientific and historical facts to prove it. i no there is because i see evidence of him. the world, the stars, the moon. isn't it a wonder that god placed every star in the sky. that he knew about u before u were born, before u were conceived? the miracles of life. what were the chances that the world was in the perfect place?i no there is a god because i talk to him everyday, avery night, and he hears me. even the trivial things god listens to with compassion and kindness. when im in troouble he takes me into his hands. i once saw a poem where a man saw his life on a beach. everyday was another footprint. when everything was ok he saw 2 sets of footprints, but at the hard parts he saw just 1. there he said to go, see, when i needed u most u left, and god said, no, that is where i carried u. and god carries me.

That's why they call if "faith" It's belief in something completely illogical, with no scientific proof. You cannot prove the illogical with logic, for example: Somebody says there's a superhero who's invisible (or something like that) and one of his other powers is that no scientific instrument now or ever can detect him, and he passes through objects upon will, and all kinds of stuff like that. Now there'd be no way to prove his existence or disprove it, and that is how God is.

Yes, I can, just look at your question, you will see that you spelled God correctly..
If God does not exist, how could this faithful wolrd believe in God? can something that does not exist exist while actually it exists not? that is logically a fallecy, God exists, since He is the one who created us... we were not, then we were, if we were not, then we wouldn't exist and I would never have typed these words, as you would never have read these words.. simply, there is existance and there is non existance, if existance exists then there must be a Creator who is unique in His attributes, One who Is, was and will always be, one who is like NO other, I believe He is One, and He is the one who Created me, and He is Allah.. Read the Quran, there you will see some points of benefits, as I recommend you to read the book of "Faith" by Ebn Taymiya, who is a very amazing Muslim scholar who answered Aristotle's claims and PROVED THE EXISTANCE OF GOD using Aristotle's system of logic, as he is considered to be the founder of Mill's system of logic and Hume's system of logic.
Muhammed from Madina.
good luck

Christians deliver the word of God, and after that the Holy Spirit through Gods word convicts you, unless you have hardened your heart.
Rom 10:8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Rom 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Rom 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Joh 8:47 He who is of God hears God's Words. Therefore you do not hear them because you are not of God.

do you think that's a flawless question?
people who don't follow what they feel and need proof are lazy. they want the answer handed to them on a platter, Faith without works is dead.
one scientist needs to trust in the scientists that provided the ground work for the current research, weren't flawed in their evidence or weren't mentally insane.. or that they themselves aren't insane. hehehe
thanks.. good question.. won't change anything but...
