Why did that give me a mental picture of Jesus on a couch, freaking out, looking at his WWJD bracelet?

The Jesus I know was about unconditional love. In my opinion he wouldn't have reacted negatively towards this. but then again I believe Jesus would have created a space in life that Mary would have not had to feel the need to hide such a thing. People confuse love with obligation and control. Shouldn't loving someone provide them with the ultimate freedom to believe and live as they want. Shouldn't love be for always without conditions. Isn't marriage a form of blackmail. People hold it over each others head saying if you don't live up to my ideal of the perfect mate I am divorcing you. For people that do lie and cheat on their spouse I would question why they would do something that would make them have to lie and sneak. If you are hiding things from someone you say you love don't you think it would lead to not loving them as much as you claim? I think Jesus and Mary would have been open and honest even if one didn't like what the other had to say or what the other chose to do.

I hear Mary M. had an affair with Judah.
That's why Judah betrayed Jesus.

Well, in order to get a divorce, one must be married, and Jesus wasn't. Unless you are influenced by the gospel according to Dan Brown.

Well that would depend on if He decided to follow the Old Testament "eye for an eye" rule or if He decided to practice what he preached in the New Testament - love and forgiveness.

Why! Were they married?

Maybe a Jesus would have the ability to see and understand the reasons for 'why it happened,' and practice the Christian ethic of forgiveness....!

Best wishes.
