Aunt Sam, so you are saying yes! In your view most so-called straight people are tempted by homosexuality but don't succumb to it..see that's different to what some other people would have me believe.
I have to point out theat homosexuality is only a sin if you follow a religion who's rules say so... for the rest of us those rules have no authority at all.

Nope, our minds are not perverted or worthless.
Rom.1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Reprobate (Greek, adokimos) rejected, worthless, castaway.
You are only here to destroy others.
We all have dirty laundry, but we all don't hang it on the clothes line for all to see. Plus we don't promote our sins. That's why you are here, is to kill and destroy souls.
You know you can change and repent and it's blotted out.
Christ is able.

"Homosexuality is carnal indulgence taken beyond perversion, Christianity is a spiritual walk in love and truth. One leads to suffering, and one leads to peace and contentment."
-Quote from Don S
Christianity is not a "spiritual walk in love and truth" if it cannot accept other people just because they are different. I wounder how you would feel if you were gay. Would you sink into a state of denial? Would you try to conform just so the other Christians wouldn't hate your guts? Or would you want to express your feelings just the way straight people do? I would think the latter. Being gay is not wrong just because its different. The only thing wrong about this whole situation is you Christians. You are discriminatory jerks. Our country is going to the dogs if people cannot accept eachother for what they are.

Homosexuality is intrinsically disordered. God allows it so the person can get close to Christ. Every person has a soul and are more than their sexuality. A person's sexuality does not define them. Homosexuality goes against natural law and will always be immoral until the end of the world. Christianity will always be there to say it is immoral. A Gay person should be celibate. Christianity has strict sexual ethics for hetero-sexual and homosexuals because of divine revelation. Only in a male/female marriage is sexual acts appropriate.

Same here.. gotta love the ladies.
but seriously. people are gay because they indulge their physical desires. i am sure that there are people in every religion that have to deal with it and that are gay. when people say they are born with it.. sometimes its just a lie to help them justify it.. other times it is mostly true. EVERYBODY is born straight. but there are people that are born with tendencies toward homosexuality or acting more feminine or masculine than is normal. That by no means justifies the sin of indulging it. Some people are born with a tendency to be an alchoholic.. but that doesn't mean it is morally justified. every body has special challenges.. EVERYBODY... you just don't know it. It is part of god's plan...
oops.. sorry about that rant.
I mean no... some are but no.

Umm, there are plenty of gay christians. Maybe not the fundamentalists, but let's face it... they're not really any smarter or better people than the Islamic fundamentalists.
Why can't you just accept that most people are just straight?

I know a few gay Christians, but in general, lots of people who are homosexual won't accept religions that say they are sinful- why would they? Why would anyone want that kind of negativity in their faith?

It is a sin to be gay! It is a sin to give in to any one of the devil's temptations. I think the people that are straight just didn't give in to that specific temptation. People who have pre marital sex gave in to that temptation. It's all the same!

Being straight or gay has nothing to do with religion. Sexual preference is based more on biology and psychology.
