Whether you like it or not, the best way to predict someone's future behavior is to look at their past behavior. Sure, there's a chance that his "trouble with the law" was an isolated incident, but it's must more likely to be a trend of future actions.

Even more important are the patterns you are forming for yourself. You are going down a road of liking "dangerous" guys and, if continued, will be the source of much negativity later on in your life. I don't expect you to understand this or be able to see it, but it is the truth and can only be uncovered through years of experience. Infatuations often cloud logic and reason, and that is the case in your situation. Good luck, you're gonna need it.

listen to your parents they are not judging him you need to dump him sure he might be sweet & all but your parents are only looking after your well being is all they do not want to find you locked up be hind bars right along with him. once a person gets into trouble with the law he will always continue to do so i am a mother of 2 i know how your parents feel about this situation show your parents you can do better for yourself than that hes bad news. i ran off one of my daughters so called b/f's in the past cause he was nothing but a loner, lazy, never would look for work, always into drinking & i did not want him to take my daughter down that path i told him good riddens he was not ever aloud in my house again never to contact my daughter either & left it at that. best take your parents advice best thing you can do for yourself >good luck<

well, i happen to agree with your parents, I would not like a guy dating my daughter that has been in trouble with the law, because he is more than likely not good enough for you if he causes that much trouble to get the law involved in his life.

You are an idiot. Listen to your parents and dump this loser.

The lesson you need to learn (because you obviously haven't) is that all people, without exception, get "in trouble with the law" because they are scum. You only see his charming side. What you don't see is his tendency to beat you or to get you hooked on drugs, or even kill you. You don't see these things because he is hiding them from you. And you are too stupid to know any better. That's why it is important to rely on your parents judgement. They know things that you don't.

Okay. First of all, if he's been in trouble w/ the law, then your parents have a good reason not to like him. After all you are their little girl.

Parents are like that. No man is good enough for their little girl. Give them time and try not to argue with them about him. They will come around in time. Good luck to you.

you are so dear to your parents and they love you so much that they do not want you to hurt... go and talk to them and ask why is that they do not like your BF. I am sure they want you to be happy and be with the right person... and listen to them... may be they see or know something that you can not see or do not know.
Good Luck

Introduce him. Show how he can be sweet. Tell your parents that you like really like him and think he's nice, sweet, hot, and kind. Or just beg and bribe.

That is something he himself will have to work on. He needs to let them get to know him. Then they can see in him what you do.

Their money and sweat was spent on you and from your added comment about jail I would have to agree with them.
