go ahead. make it more like a study help or a guide of somekind instead of date. becuase if he like someone else, he might not go on a date with u. he is already into someone and its difficult that he accept you over her. you can impress him on your time with him and you might have a chnace!!!!

I have had the same problem. I have a best friend who I've fallen in love with. I just said" Hey, do think when you break up with Summer (his ex-girlfriend) we would be a cute couple?" Well, I've been dating him for 10 months! The morale of this story is " Just go fot it!"

Don't be intimidated by other girls. Go for what you want.
Tell him you like him( I think it is better to do it face 2 face). If he likes the other girl over you, it's his loss.
