Isn't it about time we gave in to the bible thumpers and just admit they were right all along. I mean folks it so obvious ! Of course the universe is only 6000 years old, in fairness it says so in the bible so it must be true. There is so much evidence creation and nothing for evolution. How silly we are with all our logic and empirical research. We should just shut up and believe what we are told. From now on I'm going to stop thinking for myself and and just believe what the bible thumpers tell me. After all I don't want to end up in hell. So atheists, join me ! I've seen the light !!

EVOLUTION DOES NOT CONTRADICT CREATION!!!!! Look at it, people. I'm so tired of you atheists taking myth about the Bible, which none of you have read, and presenting it a "evidence" against the existence of the Lord. The bible never says anything about the universe only being 6000 years old. I've read it, and trust me, it doesn't. Secondly, "day," in the story of creation does NOT refer to a 24-hour period of time. It is a friggin metaphor. Do you really think the people 3000 years ago would have understood, "During the sixth period of 200 billion years, God changed the monkeys into people." Just imagine Jesus giving the Sermon on the Mount holding the Bible and trying to explain that one to the masses. Common sense, people.

Well, of course.

Testable theories. Mountains of evidence. Decades of work by thousands of dedicated people in dozens of scientific disciplines.

They're right. We have no business paying any attention to this stuff.

As for the bible, it's a translation of a translation of a translation of a translation of a copy of a copy of a copy of a copy of an oral history passed down through forty generations -- so how could we ever doubt it?

Oh yes lets I don't want to think anymore so lest just accept what is written down in the bible. In fact why stop there lest believe in every bit of crap that's written down. Remember if it is in writing it has to be true so when in the toilets you read "Jerry was ere" you should say "I believe it praise be to Jerry the lord and Savior and creator of the universe all hail Jerry!!!".

You are right ignorance is bliss!

I am so happy now that I can accept that the bible proves the bible.

I don't have to strain my poor brain by thinking for myself; praise be!
