My mother-in-law comes over to my house and goes snooping in all my cuboards. Including the medicine cabinet. Then she tells me she did. I guess I could think at least she's honest. I don't when I'm at her house. She says she's doing it to make sure we have everything we need. It's bugging me. Is it rude for her to do that or should I just lighten up? Also it would bother me if my best friend did it not just my mother-in law.

Yes, it's rude - doesn't matter if your friends or family. People shouldn't be going through other people's things. Kitchen cupboards are probably the only thing that is ok - being that when family comes over they have the right to search for food =P
