If it's over, why would you care if there was a fight?

The ending of a relationship is always a sensitive subject...just get it overwith and ask her straight out. If it starts a fight and is in fact over, then that will be better for both of you anyway.

why in the first place would you think it's over. Did u all have a fight or did she say something along the line's that it was over

If you are asking this question, you have already answered it yourself. Next time you see her, bring her some flowers and a (small) box of chocolates, and when she answers the door say,
"It's been real, it's been fun, it's almost been real fun - so long, sweets, see ya round" and then drive off. (Preferably with a new lady sitting in the front seat of your car, waiting for you to take her out and show her one heck of a good time).
