Let me know what action will you take regarding the illegal immigrants that are here. Be practical please, don't go on about "Deport them" cos the president said "It ain't gonna work!". And please do NOT go on about " secure the border" iether cos we all know it should be done!
So.. the Smart Americans out there, give a solution. We can't deport them nor Amnesty, so what do we do with them?

read a sociology book or go online and check out the caste and outcaste systems of Japan and India, the outcaste society here being immigrants and look at the human rights watch sites and government achived documents there, the facts speak for themselves being intolerant and callous is being part of the problem, people need to get real and start living by the bullshit they claim they live by christianity and humanity and treat these mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers as the human beings who desrve just as much respect as any other human ,they are hard working, exploited and taking care of their families and often homeless scapegoats and the biggest reciever of welfare and government handouts is white women not immigrants, the biggest group who commits violent crimes against society is white men ,contrary to the pictures you seeon fox news just take any introductory sociology class, .we can help by being advocates for all human rights and treating the stranger and the travelor well as Jesus asked in the bible for those of you who love to quote it as you commit your acts of hatyred against others in selfrighteous,patriotic, dogmatic hypocrisy

I live in California, and alot of people here are against illegal immigrants. We voted to cut support for them, but it was over rules by the courts.

Screen the illegals.

We fingerprint everyone coming across the border and every Hispanic (that is already here) as well, and find out who they are.
We need to be shown proof of how long they have been here. Old letters, or utility bills, library cards, landlord letter, etc. ((We should also go to the people who are hiring them)) and make them pay fines to cover the cost of this schooling and such.
THEN they (illegal immigrant) should be fined and made to pay what back taxes they owe and while doing that they should go to school, learn ENGLISH and do what is necessary to Become a legal American..
We need to stop them coming in the first place. NOT just because they are illegal, But folks we ARE IN A WAR. and the terrorists can just come across with the illegals..
WE MUST CLOSE OUR BORDERS AND KNOW WHO IS IN OUR COUNTRY...

Why not just let them work? Without immigrants almost every country would suffer.I think governments just need to be more thorough when investigating people who are trying to gain citizenship.But there is also so many other things that need to be done alongside securing the border.Such as jail time for illegals with false i.d,and not paying taxes.The government needs to show that living in its country does not mean a free ride.(I know that's why alot of immigrants come to live in my country)

Prosecute every single American who hires an illegal. And when convicted, put them in prison for at least 2 years, take away ALL the profit they made from hiring illegals.
If NO ONE can hire an illegal, then what's the point of them staying here??
Heck, we can ship all the illegals into Canada where they welcome illegals with open arms. Let the illegals do all the work "Canadians won't do" for a change.

I never have practical solutions...EVER.......ask my husband.
Stringent border control (all borders)
Screening (as much as possible.....and maybe a 60 day grace period that will take some of the scariness out of it for those who may see it as a cattle rush)
Then Amnesty.......
I would never ask for the US to open up a door and say WELCOME.....but I would ask that they give a chance to those who have been here for quite some time.
Just my opinion though!

Make them want to leave by making them responsible for back taxes, and reparations based on the amount of hours they should have worked minus any discrepancies that are culled from real documentation,NOW. Then their respective homelands won't seem so bad. This country can't afford to be soft anymore.

Well..again the president is wrong...because it will work and it will happen. the idea of screening illegals is just stupid. What are we going to do...hold a big sign up and say...ok...all illegals please report to the civic center for voluntary screening? They will be deported whether the president can fathom the idea or not. It will not happen over night but it will happen. America is tired of this freedom to steal mentality. Deportation is being stepped up as we speak. If businesses close as a result then big deal. They can either do it right or they can close up shop. Very strict fines for employers that hire illegals. Hold Mexico and other countries accountable for the actions of their own citizens.

I think the best approach is to go after the people that do the hiring, put them in jail, fine the company's that they work for enough so that it isn't worth it to hire them at substandard wages. In other words enforce the existing law. I think that would force them to go elsewhere. Hopefully back to where they came from.
NO WORK = NO JOB = NO MONEY = NO REASON TO BE HERE. I think that they would just go back to where they came from.
