The accident of destroying Sodom is known in the history.It,s mentioned in Koran at least.Koran said about them:When we ordered,we made it,s upside downside,and we sent rains of very hard stones.It,s marked by God ,and it,s not far from oppressors.Oppressors here means who do not follow teachings of God.Koran:11-82,83.Gays exist in other countries,but more than50% of US Lawmakers opposed ban of gay marriage .No other countries legalized that marriage.

first of all, allah is just a name for god. like how some bibles say that god's name is jehovah.
second, at least in the christian bible, the story of lot took place in the old testemant. one of the main differences i have noticed between the old and new testements of the bible is that the old testement is filled with references to a more revengeful god, like in the story of lot and his family. the new testement marks a god that is more forgiving and loves everyone. i don't know what it's like in the koran, but in the christian sense, god won't burn the us down. at least that's what i've come to understand about it.

No. It is not one sin alone, it will be for many sins that a people of any nationality would be destroyed. Sodom was destroyed because of it national PRIDE. It was looked at by God as a people who did not need God. This was their sin.
