the non-Muslim tradition of boys wearing earings started with the gay community. One ear for being gay. So, for that reason alone, I say do not do it, because it is imitating their traditions (there is no hadith of a man wearing an earing). Also, because it is imitating women and we know the hadith about imitating the opposite sex.
The bigger question is you need to ask yourself why you even considered this action? Is it due to influence of non-Muslim friends, the society around you as a whole, TV, etc? Ask yourself if the non-Muslims have something better than you do, that it would cause you to almost be jealous of what they do and want it, too. Know that you have something beautiful, TRUTH, that they do not have, and everything they do, for the most part, is designed to take you off that path or away from it. You may also want to consider making istikhara prayer for guidance and consult the Quran and Sunnah, look for acts of obedience to increase your iman/faith, that is how we increase our faith and we don't have faith without any knowledge, so keep seeking knowledge and may Allah swt bless you for seeking out an answer to this question instead of just going with the crowd and doing it!

From Islamic viewoint, you can't. Because wearing ear-rings is something that is exclusively for women. So stay away from that.
You are a man. A man is more perfect. He doesn't need any extra
adornment like women. Realize this.

I think that this is forbidden because jewlery and earrings are for women and by piercing your ears you are doing like women and you know that this is forbidden and if you just wanna do it cause you love it dont you think that it will never really matters for you just for people around you who judge you according to your looks???
And ofcourse you can ask your parents they will convince you much more than me.

It says in Islam no to act like or be similar to females and women. It says in your prophets 'Hadith' and in the holy Koran. You should know more about your religion.
so, no you can't because it's a girl thing.. besides guys with earings are gay
