Why are some mexicans jealous of us Americans?

It's our (the Americans) turn to ask the question.

Because we have a higher standard of living, more freedom and realtive peace in our daily lives.

Part of the reason they don't is because we have allowed our elected government to install trade agreements that influence thier government to be more brutal and extreme on thier daily lives. NAFTA was a virtual death sentance for many people in Southern Mexico. We (under Clinton) allowed this to happen, we loved it! So jealous or not, you as a privilaged person living in the US, should do something about this exploitation.

You should not gloat over who is jealous of who when people are dying and the blood (in part) is on your hands. You need to wake-up, educate yourself, whether right or left, and engage these issues on a real level instead of living in a bubble and worrying about who will be on the next stupid television show or what size jock straps the Yankees wear. These are human beings we are casually mocking and you wouldn't want your life or your families to be treated so disrespectfully...

The group here, an all American legal group, finds you misplaced, misinformed, pompous, a smart-aleck, unhappy in your trailer park, a jerk, a dummy, Tim McVay's cousin, a skin head, an incestuous baby, conflictive, negative, uneducated and ignorant, with missing teeth, a racist, immoral, member of the KKK in training, likes gay/lesbian games, overweight, big mouth, and you think you are cute, to boot! An abomination representation of a human being.

Now why would any Mexican or other immigrant, legal or otherwise, be jealous of an American like you. You embarrass the rest of us. Grow up. Take the IQ test we have been asking you to do. You may be convinced that people with a high IQ make an attempt at understanding man's inhumanity to man!

There are always going to be jealous people in all races and ethnicities. It's just human nature. There are some Americans that are jealous of Mexicans and there are some Mexicans that are jealous of Americans.

The reason that some Mexicans are jealous of us is because we have a lot more than they do...I've been to Mexico and some of the houses that they live in are simply shacks made out of cardboard...so befor you go and start saying rude things about mexicans think of all the things that you have that they can only dream about having and be happy....not everyone is as well off as us...

Mexicans are not jealous, europeans are. Not only did they steal their land but they commited genocide. The reason why the USA has such a high standard of living is because they opress other countries and gained there wealth through blood and not reason, and yet throught all this the white house has not recognized black and the Mesoamerican genocide as "genocide". Literally you were right, America is a continent thus making Mexico's citizen an american. But the general usage is an american is a citizen of USA. If you have traveled out of this continent you will have found that out. As Canadians are referred strictly as Canadians likewise Mexicans, Brazillians, Argentinians so on and so forth. It is more specific than Europeans that could be british, spanish, polish and so on and forth.

And to answer Sugarpie's question-I don't know if they are jealous but they do know how to manipulate our laws in their favour making citizens pay for government's catering to all illegal immigrants.

Because they want what we have without the fuss. They could get together (they showed that here)and take back their country. They don't have strong leaders. The leaders here don't want to help them there that would be too much to ask. So they incite them here using our freedoms. And being disrepectful to us is being shown, And the leaders they have here are not moral human beings (like Martin Luther King) to show them a better way to do things. These are not the true poor but the I want more. And morals are gone-which is sad. Because many from Mexico were very religious .And there using every trick in the book to make us feel guilty. Everyone wants more but our sick are not crashing Canada and stepping on their people.

Mexcians are jealous because we came here and stole what they could have stolen long a go and did not even though they were right next door so now they are jealous for they want what we stole. Also because we whites/Americans are a very jealous and a bunch of greedy people /bastards. We like to hord anything and everything we can and we will not share our stolen goods. We americans feel we are entitled to take take and take everything and hate it when someone comes along and takes what we have or take some of what we could have more off. This then means that mexican are then trying to steal from us, the original crooks of this land called USA and we dont like it and and Mexcians are jealous because we are trying to not let them do so and we are trying to stop ten from stealing from the original crooks and thats JUST WRONG actually we hate you all for it.. We want the common rule of "honour among thiefs" and that means dont steal what we have already stolen or going to steal more of..................Now go back to Mexico and give what you all have taken/ stolen or cut our share short off our stolen property back............please. Its ours we stole it first........................

Honey I am an American born and raised by American parents down to my great grand parents. my heritage is Mexican and Apache Indian. One thing I hate is ppl like you who judge ALL ppl of Mexican heritage and say hateful things like go back to Mexico, honey I've never been to Mexico, you say I got knocked up by an"***" dear I've been married and not to an illegal for 13 years and my child who is on honor roll was planned. You say ALL Hispanics are on welfare, um I finished college and am following my dreams in my field of work.
But to answer your question everyone is jealous of something.
You need to stop being so hateful. I don't care if you don't want illegal ppl here, that's your business but when you make personal attacks that's when ppl get pissed!

Because Mexicans see us as a waste of a country. With no culture, no morals, no place in the world. It is not jealousy, It is Pity and disgust. Look at the world history, the same thing happened to England in the late 18th century. The Same thing is happening to the U.S. now.

Oh my I wouldn't know how to answer that. I love being an American and I love raising my daughter to be a PROUD Amercian.....proud of her Daddy and I going to war and supporting our country in a war we didn't agree with.

BUT.........(this is my opinion and MINE ONLY)......don't we all covet our neighbor. I know I do. I don't have many neighbors now (go figure LMAO) but when I did.....wow how I hated when someone's grass was greener or when they got a new car and I was jumpstarting mine......or wait......when they were moving new furniture in and I looked at my lumpy couch.

Those are generalizations truly.......but I also think that if we SET THE STANDARD we should also pass the knowledge along and I would be feel blessed to set the stage for ANYONE to achieve better.
